If the Jackets would part with Milano and or Anderson to start it may work out for Kane going there. The Pens like him but not for Maatta and Rowney and I know he has interest in both.

I don't think they are close or in a hurry, no need to rush when you still have time to maximize his value. Unless a deal comes from a team like the Pens with players that Botterill wants, it's a waiting game.

They don't mind prospects but they want an NHL ready player that's young also. It's a give and take so to speak, you want a young NHL player back you get less back in the deal, you want picks and prospects, you will get more back in the deal.

I've heard sheary's name involved in hypothetical before. If he s the principal return, and the picks are lessened because of him, I'd rather pass on that deal. Give me the picks instead of sheary. I might be in the minority, but he's very underwhelming imo
