Heard this AM the Hawks have inquired recently about Vancouver D Michael del Zotto. $3 mil AAV thru next season. Not sure what the Hawks would offer.

Again, I do see your point. I just fundamentally disagree with it. When Hedman was coming into the league there were a lot of guys thinking he should maybe be going first. Same with Pronger. Same with Seth Jones. Dmen just don't generate the same hype, doesn't mean some guys don't recognize it. It just means that's the way the media/league is- love forwards, centers in particular. Dahlin is just benefiting from a year of no standout Center to overshadow him.

Someone has to play. EG is gone and Tanev will be injured shortly. Del Zotto still has term. I wouldn't trade him for less than a 3rd round pick.

I have no idea if, right now, Seabrook is part of this. I DO know they offered him and Forsling to VAN for Tanev in June, VAN declined.

Yeah, he'd be a good add for anyone that can afford the raise he's gonna get. I have a feeling he'll get something like 5 years, $30M.

Jamie Oleksiak was worth a 4th, 3 weeks ago - and he's fawking horrible!!

Umm, he's not a ending UFA and his cap hit is great, plus good RHD are more rare. A mid or late 1st for him is a weak return.

I'd want a good prospect on top of the 1st.
