When the Sedins TOI goes up yes they will produce more...but also become much more of a defensive liability hence the crappier record when they play more.
It has shifted. The team is much better healthy and when the Sedins are down to 12-18 min per game.
The fear is that with Gaudette Pettersson OJ Dahlen and a few others a threat to make this club next year is that the Sedins will still be here.
Is it really worth it to keep them here for 3rd line minutes for the small amount of 'mentorship' they will provide? - LordHumungous
You could sign other players that maybe not produce as much but are much better defensively. |

Id want a young defense coming back. They dont have much they could offer. They do have loads of nice forwards.
Some combinations of the players below with picks.
Vesalanian - LW, Roslovic - c, Samberg - LD, Stanley - LD, Luke Green - RD, Harkins - C
Id hope for Roslovic, Samberg and Green maybe?
I dont see them as a trade partner though. They have buff, myers and trouba on the right.
They might want a MDZ for depth. - mauryballstein
1st, roslovic for tanev. Their 1st will be late.
Logan stanley is awful. Trouba once suggested a trade? |

That would be a solid trade. We get a 1st for a defensemen at the draft. Roslovic can play next year and between him, bo and gaudette we are covered which then takes pressure of EP playing center.
Id try and get Samberg tossed in to. |

Hes the next coming if gudbranson and half as skilled as tryamkin but matches size of both. Kid wont be any more than a bottom pairing at most. |

Chevy and staff believe he is going to be a good 2nd pairing guy in a few years. |

You are hoping for a Gudbranson but so tough to project a guy like that due to his limited offense. |

I don't see Edmonton trading Nurse, seems to be the one bright spot on d this year and coming into his own offensively. Trouba isn't a better player and doesn't really have much of a higher ceiling IMO they are very similar value. |

RHD always has a little more value though, hence the 3rd. |

Ya, I'm pretty sure this is the case. I could see one of the cali teams going for him SJ and LA in particular. |

Multi-team trades are very rare and only happen in exceptional circumstances (like the Duchene deal earlier this year where it was super complicated and required a bunch of moving pieces and side deals to get done) |

What's a good return for Tanev to Winnipeg? - LeftCoaster
Any trade of Tanev has to be with Tampa, St. Louis or Islanders.
They have the best return options for the team. |

Trouba is more established than Nurse and also has more value.
5 years in the league and being a solid top 4 most of the 5 years VS 3 years and only 1 good year and starting to show that he can be a top 4.
With Klefbom and Sekeras They are pretty good on the left for top 4 so they can spare nurse to get that top 4 RHD. Trouba is currently an upgrade as well, maybe they even out eventually but that will take time. |

How many picks and prospects to take on Phaneuf's albatross contract and have to watch him bumble around like an oaf for three years in a Canucks jersey? |
