Maybe Holland will bring him when he signs as the new GM. - Marwood
If it's not Holland, it'll be a proven hockey man.
As long as it's an upgrade, i'm indifferent who it is. |

We can beat a dead horse thanks to this guy. Another analytic guy who cant figure out the difference between wins and loses.
Sum it up. Month of Oct Canucks went 6-4-1 and the Sedins only scored 3 goals.
Since then they have improved their scoring and the team has got much worse. The Sedin's are what Gagner was to Columbus last season. - manvanfan

How many picks and prospects to take on Phaneuf's albatross contract and have to watch him bumble around like an oaf for three years in a Canucks jersey? - neem55
i don't think ottawa has enough to move him...without completely emptying their cupboards. |

That guy is so smug. 🤣 he went on a rant one time and was saying how people should listen to him next time about the team. |

I'd do it for White or Chabot, I'd take the full contract and give EG in return. |

Texted Ken Holland about the Vancouver gm rumours this morning but no response which is no surprise. The story won't go away until the #Canucks provide some sort of clarity about Jim Benning's future. |

Kyle Connor, Logan Stanley, Roslovic. I disagree, Winnipeg has plenty to offer. - neem55
Every team in the league has plenty to offer. I was looking at quality returns over quantity returns .
Tampa, by far, has the best quality too offer, followed by Islanders, then St. Louis. IMO |

You could sign other players that maybe not produce as much but are much better defensively. - manvanfan
For what the Sedins are going to produce on the third line we could totally sign better defensive players that might even exceed their points. |

I think the Canuck's are in hold mode until they decide what they'll do about their GM. |

I agree Tampa has a lot of prospects. Disagree about the other two. Philly is 2. Might even be 1 honestly. Crazy prospect pool. I'd try to trade with Carolina were I a GM, one the few teams with such a young d core/d prospect pool that swapping one for a vet makes a lot of sense as a bubble team. They would be my number 3. |

Chl top prospect rosters

Some real nice looking prospects on those rosters.
We need to be able to get a couple more picks, at minimum in the top 3 rounds.
Looking forward to the lead up to the draft, and of course the draft itself. |

Gaudette and EP are high producing PP players right now in their respective leagues. Gagner signed for 2 more years. Does Van need 3 defensively liable PP specilaists on the team? |

Luka Barzan, Ty Dredella, Cam Hillis are 3 players I would like to see play. Barzan now plays for the Brandon Wheat Kings. I may have to go home to see him play a few times. |

Carolina definitely has some nice prospects as well. They need offense though and I don't really think we have much to offer in that field. I am thinking along the lines of what works for both teams, not just for the Canucks.
The 3 teams I mentioned, could use a quality defender of Tanev's ability. |

The twins have assisted on half of Boeser goals.... ppp yes, but if you don't think that they have helped him then you're fooling yourself. |

I totally think Carolina would be interested in Vanek. I also think, like I said, that they have a young d core that could do with another vet in the mix to really make it solidified. I know they wont give up on Hanafin or Slavin, but maybe Jake Bean or Fleury and a high pick? |

Don't know a lot about Barzan, but, what I have read is good.
I am still very high on McIsaac and haven't seen him play in awhile.
I believe he will be a top pairing guy. |

They aren't going anywhere. It's a bit of a moot point. Hopefully their twilight year or two don't cost too much. |

Last article I saw on him. Wont wow you in any way and just about every teammate is better without him. 😮 |
