Some of you know that I have been pretty frustrated lately as my 16 year old kid is starting to smoke a hell of a lot of weed - more than I can be cool about. He's getting in trouble at school and its getting in the way of other stuff he used to be pretty good at.
It is especially frustrating that he buys paraphernalia and has it sent to the house. Most of the time we don't even know, I'm sure, because my wife and I both work, but occasionally I work from my home office, or sometimes the delivery shows up on the weekend, and then hell breaks loose.
I'm working from home today. Around 2:30 the doorbell rings, its the UPS guy with an Amazon package for my kid. I'm grinding my teeth cause I'm pissed off and I'm sure there's gonna be another fight over whatever pipe or bong or whatever he bought this time.
When he came home from school, I made him come into my office and open the package in front of me. He gets all huffy and says he won't do it, but I make him, and finally he opens the package.
Its a carton of 100 condoms. I'm like, "WTF are you doing with 100 rubbers??" He says, "I sell them at school. I can buy a carton for like $25, and I get $1.00 each for them. I make about $70 every two weeks."
So take that, all you millenials. The American Dream is alive and well.

Late read but this is awesome!
I have 2 girls, 10 and 12 and I make sure they know the value of a buck. They both work odd jobs (including shoveling driveways) and make things to sell at craft shows and farmers markets. Kids are so f-ing spoiled and lazy these days. Its crazy.

Do the Browns have an interest in bringing Taylor in this year to mentor the first overall? Does 20 + 21 + Taylor = 4th overall? - jcragcrumple
That would not be a good decision in my opinion. We have to many major holes to fill to be trading up. Plus now with talks of cutting Hughes, you also need to draft a #1 DE
...havent been around the site much the past few years, but I gotta say, lotsa good stuff in the buffalo threads.
Heres my take....
If Bottereill builds thru the draft, which Im certain he will.....
Get what you can for lehner he is far too inconsistent to be in the long term plans and ullmark is the future.
Trade O'Reilly, by the time you are contending, his prime will be long gone.
Take a sack of peanuts for Bogosian.

It depends which QBs are still available at 4 imo. If there's a guy they like, i'm all for it. I'm way more concerned with finding a franchise QB than an edge rusher

Yeah but you need DT, DE, LB, OT, RB depth... IMO if they cut Hughes, it shows they are going for a FA QB or Trading for one and not trading up. No matter what this is the first year in a VERY long time, i am confident with the decisions that the GM and HC make. Last years draft gave me hope.

ROR was great last night in face off wins. Value getting better.

That's another nice thing. That playoff appearance probably buys this HC/GM 4 more years to fully implement their plan. Changing staff every 2-3 years never works for long-term strategic planning.
If they aren't taking a QB this year, i'd prefer they trade their own first again this year for a first next year and a 3rd or something. They're gonna need 2 firsts in a year where they want a QB in order to get high enough.

Look at the Tre White pick.... he was picked top rookie and number 3 overall CB by PFT. Could of taken him at 10 and been happy with it, instead they get him and another 1st.... Prior GMs couldn't even dream of that.
