That would not be a good decision in my opinion. We have to many major holes to fill to be trading up. Plus now with talks of cutting Hughes, you also need to draft a #1 DE - CoHo_to_B-Lo
I'm kind've in the same camp. Until it happened and they got Darnold. I guess I would like it either way, but all they sacrificed with trading players away and trading down to #27, they have a lot of holes to plug. 5 reliable picks by NFL standards this year. Should be able to get a young athletic team real fast. My dream scenario is being able to stay put and get my boy Roquan Smith.

Dreger on WGR says he gets the impression someone (prolly Western Conference) will meet the asking price of NHL player, prospect, 1st, & conditional pick for Kane

I'm getting ready for my happy dance. Kane has not given us 100% for several weeks now anyway |

This would be a grand slam haul as far as I am concerned. I'd be happy with a 1st and solid prospect - particularly if it's a good prospect
How about Kane to Calgary for 1st, Killington and a 2/3 if he resigns there? Throw in Gorges and retain a bunch of Gorges salary for their deep playoff run. I think they are for real.

If he's not in Buffalo to play with Eichel, they're wasting their time. Don't make him "earn it" by playing with Girgensons and Nolan or something. They need to find out if he can play in a big boy scoring role
Awesome username btw. |

ROR was great last night in face off wins. Value getting better. - 51_Killer
On a contending team, he's pushing them to the next level......on buffalo, he's just gonna be a vet that wastes his prime while the team builds.
I never hear his name in rumours, but it should be. |

Seems like with the unusually high number of Dreger Tweets today and the Bapper call up that there are some serious talks going on.
If it is the Kings, any idea on the return?

Retain Salary and then get Muzzin, Mersch and a pick! Too much maybe but let's shoot for the stars! |

Bills draft prognosticators:
Do the Browns have an interest in bringing Taylor in this year to mentor the first overall? Does 20 + 21 + Taylor = 4th overall? - jcragcrumple
If u were gonna have someone “mentor” a young QB...
why would u choose a guy who passes for under 200yds per game?
Some team might see Tyrod as a “bridge”
I’d consider guys like Eli, Rivers, Brees, etc to be more of a “mentor”
Guys who have excelled at the position
Maybe I’m just being picky with my definition of mentor though
It’s tough to say if any team would find value in having Tyrod start for them
There could be a few who do
Do they need a QB though? |
