I honestly think they did it this way on purpose. Friday night. It mitigates a lot of the damage, people will be hurt no matter when a shutdown occurs, but they have 2 days to get something done and they relish the deadline, so let's hope for the best.

The Reps control the White House, the Senate, & the House...
so why haven’t they had that criminal Hilary charged yet?

I know the Sabres are entering another transition period here in terms of the roster. If the Sabres happen to move O’Reilly at some point between now and the draft I wouldn’t mind replacing him with Bozak if the price tag is around $5M over 3 years. Can assume 2nd line defensive role while Mittlestadt grows into it, or shifts Mittlestadt to the wing all together

Who knows what will really happen, but my feeling is ROR won’t get moved until either Asplund or Davidsson is ready to take those reins.
As far as Mittlestadt goes, I hope the Sabres use him at center as he seems like a terrific set-up guy.
