It's a glass half full/empty opinion IMO. Not saying you are wrong, but couldn't you just as easily say it's unfair because we made the playoffs this year AND have 4 picks in the first two rounds?

I'm not nearly as big on kane as most here so the return for him to me is almost irrelevant. As long as something with upside (be it a first rounder or prospect) comes back i'd be happy with it.

I know we need high end defenders, it's not gunna happen with a kane trade. It'll likely take our top pick this year or trading a package of our better young forwards to make it happen.

Former #Sabres player Mike Weber retired today. He gave an outstanding press conference to the Swedish media at @frolunda_hc practice. He said he couldn't lift his two year old child because of knee damage, he needs a knee replacement. 1/

If the sabres announced they signed weber for the rest of this season, it wouldn't suprise me.

For all the hockey buzzers who keep wanting wins and think this season is not purposely a tank season, that would be the answer
