Yes agree 100% Leave him in Utica this season. Look to give him NHL games next season then back up the following season then hopefully he forces himself in to the number 1 spot.

Hansen is not even playing in SJ. We could get him back for almost nothing. Or could send Vanek to SJ for Hansen and a 2nd/3rd.

Then both sedins for 7 million plus being willing to take back bad contracts as part of the deal really opens up the amount of teams that would be in the running.

Carolina has loads of young defense which need some nice wingers and all there picks.

They are all expiring contracts. I'd resign Calvert for 4th line. The other two can walk. Might be able to flip Johnson and Jokinen for picks.
