He is so inconsistent.
Softies on the 1st shot of a game.
Rebound control is back-up quality
All said he can make great saves but he takes the air out of a team too often. - Nighthawk
He's robbed the Oilers a couple of times in the third after giving up that softie.
He's not a legit starter but this team has a lot of issues that go far deeper than goaltending. |

I agree but he has to set the tone better.
Start Nillson & pull him for Marky in the 2nd no matter the score 😂😂 |

JV Lind & Gads are a nice start - Nighthawk
JV throw a random big hit once every 5-10 games, that's about it.
Gadjovich goes to the net a lot, but doesn't have a mean streak and not a cocky bastard. |

He has no playmaker at C to bring out his best. Gads can muscle ppl around & agitate. |

Holy f! Lind Got hammered!!! Thought he was KO, but got up. Kinda late hit. And now he’s on the ice for last 30 seconds. 😮
Cal Foote just ok tonight but his bro Nolan could be a nice pick in a mid/later round.
When rockets top guys leave and he gets a bigger roll he will put up big points.

I agree, but I'm not talking about his offense
he doesn't need a playmaker to make him throw more hits and be more of a pain in the ass physically, especially if he's playing a 4th line role.
Gadjovich plays a hard nosed honest game, he plays a tough/gritty game but he's not someone who racks up the pims and stirs poop. |

Can't say I'm surprised, a bunch of teenagers aren't going to sit back and do nothing when a kid is that cocky
Hopefully it's not a serious injury. |

I’m talking when its dump & chase to set up the hits & puck retrieval. Other ways a C can bring out more from wingers. Eg they don’t use his speed as an asset often. |

Guys who hit and stir poop will always hit, Dorsett did it when he was playing with Granlund, Henrik, Vey, Sutter, all as his centers at different times.
I watched him play when he was in the WHL, I'm guessing you did as well. The guy legitimately loved throwing big hits and pissing teams off, now he does it once every 2 weeks.
That was part of the logic in drafting him over better offensive players. |

I think they play dump and chase already because there sure is a lot of crap on the ice |

All true. Makes me wonder what TG wants from him or who has changed his mentality.
Is he afraid to make mistakes? |

I'm pretty curious as well, I remember when he first played here in the pre-season and regular season and he was his usual self and then things changed all of a sudden. I know he got suspended for the hit against the Sharks on Polak(I was like 25 feet away from that hit lol).
Either it was the repetitive shoulder injuries, the Canucks staff telling him to dial it back physically and focus on doing other things, or maybe the league suspension scared him. Maybe a combination of everything.
Too soon to call him a bust or anything, but if he's still at this stage of his development by the end of next season then it's time to be really worried. |

This team is so bad. We need talent at every single position.
Defense is the biggest problem for this organization. There are 3 nhl quality defensemen, Edler Tanev and Gudbranson, with very little help on the way.
Time to stop picking bpa after 1st round. Team needs too desperately focus on this position.
Was hoping too see a little more excitement from this group, but, that only lasted for the first 20 games, back to having mops during these games.
Oh well, next year might be a bit better. |
