Housley was pissed about his penalty 140 away from the play. - jochfr
Ah, thx.
A staggering level of incompetence. He takes a bad penalty, and we all have to watch Wilson and girgs in the top 6 as a result. I'm sure this is a lesson for the 30 year old Pouliot that will alter the course of his career for the better |

If we don't land 1st OA, we're stuck with forwards. I wonder if it would be a good idea to trade back to 5 or 6. |

Might be true but I put as much stock in him as I do Nylander. Good at the Jr Lvl but can he transition into the big game? |

am only vaguely familiar with them...very late to the scene but a band most definitely worth investigating further |

isn't that the question with nearly every player drafted? |

They are night and day when it comes to comparing the two play styles. Tkachuk is a warrior with speed. Phsyically dominates Nylander. Nylander has more skill that has yet to translate. |

True, but some clearly stand out, generational talent is a strong word, but there are standouts. He is not a generational player or an NHL standout IMO |

Noah Dobson sleeper pick if we get the screw job and fall out of a top 3 pick. I would take him 4 if the opportunity presents it's self |

Girgensons-Eichel-Okposo
Wilson-O'Reilly-Reinhart
Kane-Larsson-Pominville
Nolan-Rodirgues-Baptiste - jcragcrumple
Can Baptiste play LW?
It would be easier to move him up in the lineup then
Or Okposo played some LW with NyI,
so maybe shift him over
I don’t mind Kane on line3...
maybe he can help it be productive
If we tried Sam at 3C again
(this time it would be with decent linemates!)
Then that would open a spot to move up Baptiste as well
Until last year, E Rod played RW
This season is obviously toast
Let’s give some of these guys a shot in the top6... or at least with better linemates than Wilson, Nolan, etc
I just don’t see the point in that |

Hypothetical:
If the Sabres pick 1, and the Coyotes pick 2,
Is this a reasonable trade:
Swap picks and OEL for McCabe |

I think trying to force reinhart to center was one of housley's biggest mistakes early in the season

I'm saying I would not use generational, maybe standout if he gets more dominant in NCAA |

(frank) no you are getting a generational defenseman that is going to be a billion times better then OEL

Okposo-Eichel-Baptiste
Bailey-O’Reilly-Rodrigues
Kane-Reinhart-Pominville
Pouliot/Girgensons/Larsson/Nolan/Wilson
Heck...
even get Nylander up here on LW
Something like this
Not for the entire rest of the season,
Bc winning in Rochester is still a priority
So i guess maybe not all those guys at once up here...
but when they are up like E Rod & Baptiste,
let’s have them play with Jack & ROR and see what happens |

I'm actually hoping that an embarrassing loss tonight gets the ball moving on getting rid of as many of these names as possible. Then they'll have to try new things |

Whether or not my hopes were realistic, you have to admit these results have been disappointing. - Der Kaiser
if you're referring to the team then yeah even i didnt think theyd be this bad. Difference is i don't put that on the secondary guys. Reinhart and Lehner have been major disappointments, and they were both big investments in their own way. |
