Yea its bad. But I do think we just havent brought in the right players via free agency. Mainly just the guys that want a big pay day. Okposo, Moulson, ehrhoff. All bums that just want a nice cushy life for their family and could care less about winning.

They have an awesome defense too, so that helps. Like an actual awesome defense, not just tip the ball and get lucky with turnovers.
The Eagles were the best redzone defense this year. They're going to need it in a few weeks. Maybe they get lucky and Gronk won't play, he was totally out of it.
But then the Vikings were the best defense in yards allowed in the regular season, so anything's possible.

He had a terrible start this year,
likely bc of his medical issues
But he played well last year,
and he’s gotten consistently better this year to the point where he’s been producing great with Jack
I’m not saying he’s awesome...
but grouping him in with Moulson is pretty ridiculous

As far as the on-ice product:
Maybe it is a bit of House bein a rookie head coach...but there are legitimate NHL players on this team, and regardless of the coach, they should be better than this.
In terms of player progression:
This has to fall a bit more on House. Granted the players need to put in the effort to progress, but something is not right. Outside of Eichel, who we all knew was going to be a superstar even if I coached him, there is not a single player on this team who I can point to who has gotten better since House took over. I'm not expecting career years out of anyone, but the needle (especially on defense) should start turning towards a positive direction. Many of these players have regressed.

I'd say you have a point if every team in the NHL didn't do this bullpoop. The Red Wings(when they were good) used to keep players in the AHL for years after they were ready while dressing Drew Miller on a nightly basis.
