I’m afraid that Nylander might be a big time swing and miss if he doesn’t decide that he needs to get to the dirty areas instead of being a perimeter player. He will flush out quickly if not.
Now, I will say that the Sabres should bring him up for 5 games and ride on Eichel’s wing to see if he is truly ill suited for the AHL and can play in the NHL. Hell, give 10 or 15. But see what he has now rather than holding on for 2 - 3 years to see if he gets it. If he shows promises, GREAT. If not, starting planing his exit strategy from this team now. - IonSabres
I think he’s a player that is better suited for the NHL and and will be a very good forward

And after half the season it will be ten, then another few games 5, and so on.
Did i do this right? - TheHank
I’m really excited to see him play I bet you he learned a lot from playing overseas and he’s probably going to be a better player and he’s fully healthy now

Ok, so Reinhart has been playing much better lately, which stirred this thought: Okposo is a good fit with Eichel for the next year or two. He found his game, Eichel makes him better, and his contract probably won't be easily moved anyway.
I don't think that Reinhart and ROR is a good fit, because ROR needs more speed there. Reinhart also cannot excel on the 3rd line. With that said, I don't see a long term
Kane is gone.
For the sake of this exercise, I'm going to assume Mittelstadt signs and makes the team next year. If the Sabres want him as the long term answer at 2c, who better to learn it from than ROR. It also gives ROR needed speed.
So my lineup looks like this:
?-Eichel-Okposo
Mittelstadt-Ror-?
Is there a team that needs a playmaking wing, or would like to try Reinhart at 2C, and would trade speed at 1LW or speed at 2RW

Imo everyone should develop overseas. Imo - TheHank
It depends on the situation and the development growth Like nylander I absolutely hate that he’s in the AHL right he needs to be playing with man and not players that have no NHL future
