That poster could be retarded.... Kane and Maroon top the list due to the likely hood that they'll be traded. Hoffman and Pacioretty carry term on their deal which makes them more likely a summer trade than a deadline rental.

I was being sarcastic due to the nature of the topic.

I think Kane is the "biggest fish" on the market - outside of Hoffman, Karlsson, and Patches O'Houllihan being available.

He's on his current pace for his career this year not being injured. And yes, I would use that metric for all players. You draw the line somewhere when saying that a guy misses time. But what is that line. If he misses 2 games, it's prolly not a big deal. I'm not saying he's done that, but I'm asking you to define your line, but then thinking what line is that for a GM? And do they take into account that he plays like his hair is on fire when these injuries occurred? Again, I think it's a better example then raw numbers.

I like combining eye test and the raw numbers. Check those stats to see what's going on and then check out his play to see why.

That's why I'm over kane. The effort is there, but what is it producing. So he works really hard to recover the puck that's great...but then he immediately takes the puck and shoots one high and wide from 40 feet out. Get my drift?

Kane likes it in Buffalo has no problem staying but he wants big money(so I heard) and they aren't going to do any big contracts until Botterill gets Murray's mess under control. Also if and I say if Okposo wasn't here on a big deal already, things might be different.

Things change with regards to big money deals, Botterill is quieter then Murray, Murray wanted everyone to know he's in charge, people know Botterill is in charge, he doesn't need to advertise so to speak.
