One thing I noticed last night was the improved play/skating of Patrick. I thought he had a good, strong game and he made a couple of huge defensive plays. Perhaps he's finally starting to feel 100% healthy. |

I was kinda curious why the OT goal was reviewed. They didn't have a coach's challenge... |

His skating was very noticeable. Think it was the 2nd period he had puck behind net and took it out to the circle himself and dangled whatever Wings player with a quick stop/cut and go. He’s improving and heating up at the right time. Hopefully the points come soon |

Can someone please exlpain to me why the coaches challenge last night didn't result in a penalty but when Hak challenged and failed in Nashville it was a penalty?
You're the man Bill thanks for everything you do. |

IIRC it is only for offsides calls, not goalie interference. But don't hold me to that.

I had the same question. I think the penalty only applies to offsides reviews...not GI reviews |

I thought all overtime goals were reviewed like the final 2 minutes in a nfl game could be wrong though |

I don't know how Tyler Bertuzzi missed those TWO open nets but hey I'll take it! |

What moves would you all line to see the Flyers make at the trade deadline assuming the standings are the same as they are now. Curious about names you would want to acquire or move not necessarily positions that they need to fill. |

Happy they won, even though they didn't deserve it. I'll take lucky over good every game.
One weird thing that doesn't matter: Travis Konecny has scored OT winners in back-to-back games. Both times, when his teammates came over to congratulate him, he almost looked pissed, or at least wasn't smiling. Not anything for concern, just something I noticed. |

Manning is better than Sanheim, that might fix it.

If they feel that anyone could fill in for Filppula, I wouldn't mind him moving on. I know he's a veteran that the kids can lean on, but he brings very little on-ice. But not sure they want Vecchionne or Laughton filling a middle-6 C spot. |

I chalk it up to "acting like he's been there before" and I'm good with that. |

I have that same wonder. Maybe it was part of the whole "Toronto reviews every franking thing about every franking goal" thing |

He is staring at Hak, saying you should have put me out in OT earlier in the season.

Speaking of vet that gets leaned on...Dale Weise is praised often by the players
he doesn't play anymore and they are still doing well

Maybe Hak's bubbling personality is rubbing off on some of the players. |

I'm sure Manning is better than Sanheim in many ways. Like playing basketball, or writing his name in the snow, or doing the moonwalk.
