Seriously? What part of "please let it go" don't you understand? I'm doing my best here but it doesn't seem to be enough, so help me out. - Scoob
Okay. Just so we're clear on the reason you wouldn't do it, I got it.
Personally, since I am a fan of Patrick's Kane's on-ice play and since his only off-ice incident that he ever was actually guilty of was the taxi cab incident 9 years ago, I would trade Wayne Simmonds for him, a 1st round pick, and a top Chicago prospect. I would then trade Jake Voracek to make the cap work. |

I want no part of Toews on that contract. That thing makes AMac look underpaid. |

It depends. I would like them to go after Evander Kane. I wouldnt want to give up more then 2017 first, 2018 Conditional 2nd if he resigns, Wade Allison, and they would have to take back either Lehtera or Weiss for money reasons.
I would also like to see them trade either Elliot or Nuevirth. Make a decision and make a trade. Just get a backup in the deal or call up Lyons.
That is all the changes I would be willing to make if we are planning on making a semi-serious run in the post season.
Otherwise I would trade Raffl, Weiss, Manning, Gudas, MacDonald, Filppula, Lehtera, In addition to one of the goalies. Not that most of those guys are tradeable. But you might get something decent for Gudas, Raffl, Macdonald (if you retain salary), and Filppula. Maybe a few picks. - youarewrong
I would not trade Raffl unless the return was too good to pass up. I also would keep Gudas.

Raffl is cheap, versatile, and is a good possession player.
Why would we trade him? |

May I ask why should we trade one of our goalies? beef up draft picks? IMO our goal tending has been a strength this year. Why weaken the area? - SimmerDown
To make room for Lyons next season so Sandstrom and Hart make the Phantoms. |

If things do happen to play out that way I would still wait until the off season, perhaps during the draft before I trade a goalie away. No confirmation Sandstrom will come to north america next year anyways. |

Some testy mofos round here, you'd think the Flyers were sitting in place or something. Lighten up boys, heck I just came back from the post office and there is a big sign on the wall that says: MISSING: One negative clown! If found, send to James Tanner ASAP!!

He has all of the tools, but what I like the best is his ability to get under opponents skin and he won't back down.

You can't just look at those numbers and say that is what is happening. That is where you get yourself into trouble. Same thing as using +/- to say Hagg is playing great.
There are specific reasons why Sanheim's corsi is higher than Manning's, and only one of them are because he is better. Sanheim hasn't played with MacDonald or Manning much, and Manning has to play with himself. Sanheim is usually limited in ice time when the Flyers have a lead, which is when the most shots against usually happen. He has a zone start advantage, though that isn't too big of a deal.
There are other stats to look at and also adjustments that are used to limit some of those effects I mentioned, but just pointing at corsi numbers and saying one is better than the other isn't correct and feeds the "flat staters" - YuenglingJagr
I know I was slightly joking, but thanks though |

With an expansion draft looming, I don't think the Flyers will rush Sandstrom over. I think Hart and Lyons start in LHV next year and Sandstrom comes over in 19-20. Re Stolarz: big question mark right now, not sure when or if he'll even make it back this year. |

He may be a chip to sweeten any deal that any of the GM's on here want to throw into the Simmer deal, Kane deal, etc...

That's what I'm thinking will happen. Trade one goalie, Lyon or the corpse of Stolarz will be the back up. The other one and Hart will be in the AHL.
Yueng said that Sandstrom is playing now, but I don't know if he comes to America next year due to his injury....It's entirely possible that he comes next season. |

Raffl is the kind of player whose trade value would never match his on-ice value. |

Don't quote me on this but I do believe Sandstrom gave up 5 goals against in his only start last week. It will take some time for him to get the mojo in flow. |
