FYI, Derek Forbort is out of tonight’s game! My guess is Paul Ladue will be in.

Obviously I agree that it's not just on those 3 players
I mean this game should have been a clear win in regulation if they played the way they can. Nonetheless, the issue being questioned is Gully's OT decision

You said "Fresh guys would not have prevented what happened when that goal was scored. You can female dog about the faceoff thing, it's a valid argument, but ROR is the best faceoff guy in the NHL, you're probably losing that one regardless. "

I'm disagreeing with the fact that fresh guys or a better faceoff centerman COULD have (not guaranteed) prevented what happened and in fact likely WOULD have a different outcome. It's also not valid to say you're probably gonna lose the faceoff anyway, so we might as well not try because our best faceoff man vs our worst faceoff man would lead to the same outcome....the fact is, the 50% faceoffman still has a higher chance of winning that draw than the 35% faceoff winger, or at least not letting it be won so cleanly regardless if ROR is 60% at draws

I am not saying that man...I've said numerous times it's a valid argument to question why gully had those guys out. What I am trying to say is that you're nit picking about something that in the grand scheme of things is pretty much inconsequential. Out of everything that happened in that game you're blowing one decision up like it cost the team the game. There's about 100 other things we should talk about over that.

When he scores a goal he will become relevant enough to learn his name.

“It is a long time to be on the ice if you’re flying up and down the ice, but when you’re on a 4-on-3 you’re not moving a whole lot – none of us were that tired really,” said Brouwer, who many argued should not have taken the final draw against the league’s best, Ryan O’Reilly.

“I have been taking faceoffs a lot lately and the last two games I was over 60 per cent. When I was in Washington I would take 200 to 300 draws a year, so it’s something I’m used to.”

(frank) it. Lets just hope they can beat a tired LA team that has played 5 games in 7 days.

Edit: Still would have rather had Janko out there. But this has been beat to death so time to move on.

And noticing he played through a torn ACL and MCL last playoffs; he might be closer to the end of his career than people expect.
