And that's different from what Murray did how exactly? People are still hammering him for it.

You either 1) re-sign Lehner at the same amount for next year and tell him it's an open competition with Ullmark, or 2) You to UFA since you think Lehner sucks so much any bumhole they get will at least be as good as him, and it's an open competition.

That fact that posters were acting like his value is UP after doing basically nothing for the past 1/3 of the season is one of the all time jokes on here.

Oh, and the scouts are also looking for his potential, not how he's playing currently.

Said he was a “throw in” who likely would never play for the Sabres
