Jesus Christ dude, lighten up. He DID say it, coming in 12 hours after the fact and saying "oops" doesn't change the fact that it was said. I didn't see the goal, working off of the info I had(Jodie Foster, woman with spiky hair, stereotypes), people here have a history of saying weird poop, and with that in mind the only thing that made sense was that. Yea pretty much. But honestly I would be very happy with a 1st round pick and a prospect. Which to some may not be alot (compared to whats been reported/asked for) but to me that what I believe his value is.

Sure, hopefully he does, but we have zero ways of actually knowing that. And if he traded Kane whose value is at least a mid to late 1st for a young unproven goalie people better be ready to burn this place down like they did with Murray.

And if you're talking about the future, the Sabres have a bunch of goalies that will be ready at staggered times over the next 4 years or so.

The only reason I put Lehner as the first point is because that's how those lists usually work, you put the one that is the least crazy/requires the least work at the top and then go in descending order.

If NyR drop out of the playoff race & decide to trade Nash & Grabner
That could give some of the teams interested in Kane the option to fill their need for cheaper

I'm open to it. I don't think he'll have a precipitous drop in production for a few years yet. If the Sabres bring Mittelstadt into the fold soon and he shows he can be a 2C, for sure, entertain the offer. I think it's a little premature now
