Was anybody there with a gun to stop the individual who came in with the gun? nope. Stop with this argument. - Khmylev
http://www.foxnews.com/us...it-by-police-gunfire.html
I'm a gun supporter, but the "good guy with a gun" thing is absurd, even cops, people theoretically trained in the use of firearms are woefully undertrained and illequipped to handle those situations.
Police don't seem to understand the concept of overpenetration, or barrel sweep. |

Replying to some of the comments on page 4. I'm tired of losing. I'm tired of putting my hopes in top 5 draft picks instead of wins. We got jack. Build around him with whatever picks we get. Scout well and make sound trades. Time to go UP |

I think you can forget adding any Deference/player currently helping their team get into the playoffs in any Kane deal. - MCGUIZZY
I think there's two ways to look at it. If they include scandella or McCabe with Kane, I believe they may be able to land a D man on a contract - maybe not Ekholm because that contract is amazing - but the return otherwise (in terms of picks/prospects) would plummet.
It would be a major upgrade on offense for that team in return for a slight downgrade on D, depending on the player. Granted I've never seen it done
Kane for picks/prospects is the more likely scenario for sure. |

Fabbro is a gamble. Jbotts said he wants an NHL ready player - lulags
Well any prospect is a gamble
It’s probably more likely that we get a prospect with good upside than a young player who’s already good |

We are the second worst team in the league. Might as well get the high pick while we can. We have had 2 good games the entire year.
Its completely out of our hands anyways.. |

List the elite players PICKED in the top 5 that have helped us win a Stanley Cup.
I'll wait... - Powerslave
The only person we drafted is Jack Eichel
I wouldn’t call Vanick a franchise player A very very good player and if we draft a Vanick in this draft would any Buddy be upset |

Winning this far into a failed season is one of the worst things they can do. You want to win consistently? Put a franchise Dman like Dahlin on your blue line for the next 10+ years. We need an elite goal scorer on Jack's wing and an elite Dman, this draft can provide one of those if we don't put together feel-good wins when after it's already too late to make the playoffs. |

He would have had 4 or 5 40 goal seasons imo. He's on pace for 20-25 this year and he's pretty old |

it has nothing to do with being healthy, exact opposite. it's just an obsession on how you look. idiots eating 800 calories a day so they can get that perfect photo. spending bare cash on getting butt lifts (both genders!) instead of literally anything else that would be considered useful. |

Agree %100
I'm not worried, jbotts and phil are not going to allow us to pick later than 6. This season is designed to draft early and that plan is not going to change. Keep lehner in net and even past the deadline if you need to lock the top 3 in.
Top 3 plus buffaluck = 6th |

OK so I went over the Sabres draft for the last 20-30 years, this is depressing, the ONLY superstar drafted since 1988 would be Alexander mogilny. - hehateme
He thinks you have to suck year after year to be good, or get good players. Drafted 89th...
Sam Reinhart drafted 2nd.
Drops mic....

just makes it more likely. The wins now don't mean much. I mean for us it's fun to watch but in the grand scheme of things it has basically no effect. Same things were said about it last year, and the year before that. |
