Gilbert was easy. I sort of new Vanek, I remember him doing well from the start. And, I kind of figured either Martin or Robert from the French Connection was probably benefiting bit time from Perreault. They were before my time, though, wish I could have seen them play.

I was lucky enough to get into hockey in 73 i think. Was down at camp listening to the radio when the flyers eliminated the sabres in 75. Yes I cried .

Getting the team playing as a team is more important . They really looked impressive the past 2 games . not gonna get my hopes up but we know how they CAN play.

Yes, the Pens have two elite players picked at the top of their draft classes, but so does Washington.

Boston won their last cup with a core of 2nd and 3rd round draft choices (Lu, Marchand, Krejci, Bergeron) and a savvy trade here and there (Chara).

Putting your eggs in the top 3 pick basket has gotten us nothing. We pick where we pick and let's just hope the GM and his scouts have done their homework.

Agreed. I just hope they keep it together, play well, but somehow sill lose. Only 32 more games and a top 3 pick in this draft will help for years to come.
