I can only discuss Hayes phenomenal play for so long without needing a change of drawers. - mdw7413
You saw the game last night, you know Hayes can still be highly creative offensively. How do you not hate AV for all but killing that creativity? |

I was just gonna say, it's minor league sports. Any idea that might give them a few extra dollars in their pockets is worth the time. - tomburton99
Hey guys, you are just a bunch of minor leaguers. I know that it sucks not being in the show and all, but while you are down here we were just going to make sure we destroy whatever remains of your self-respect. But, no worries, with hard work and commitment, maybe one day you can work your way up to the Double A Pittsburgh Pigs in a Blankets.

Congratulations, you've been called up to the Cincinnati Skyline Chilli Bowls. Just a head's up, tonight is the annual "Chilli Bowl" and the fans will be dumping searing hot bowls of chilli on your head as you walk out of the tunnel. |

The (frank)ing name tag kills me - eichiefs9
Coach, my name is Steve.
Well, Steve, we (frank)ed up the jerseys, so now your name is Scott.
But, Coach, I really don't want to be Scott.
Hey, you, you up there in the 5th row. Steve doesn't want to be Scott. You want to be Scott and play second base for the Grizzlies?
SURE!!

Why would I blame AV. Hayes is put into a new role this year. He is being called upon to be a shutdown center. Thats what he has been concentrating on, and was doing a pretty good job. As he gets more comfortable with the new role he will show more offense. Seems like a win/win. He can be a shutdown guy, who has plenty of offense. |

I totally blame AV for that time Hayes had a breakaway and didn't shoot the puck |

Coach my parents spent tens of thousands of dollars on camps and trainers and I have put in thousands of hours of work in the gym to claw my way up to AA. I don't want to be Scott and I don't want to wear this jersey. It's insulting
"This is professional baseball, Scott. This is serious business. Now put the damn Spongebob jersey on and get out there and represent the Trenton Pork Roll with pride!!" |

It really came down to who was going to do it. Zib, nah. DD Hayes was the only logical choice. He has shown he has some decent defensive skills since he got here.

Hayes has really improved in faceoffs, something nobody has noticed. Pretty much a 50% faceoff guy this year, up from 36% his first two years. |

Yeah. I'm actually a little surprised by that. I figured he would follow Step and pretty much be the same every single (frank)ing year. Bad |

Hayes next contract is anybody's guess
has he done enough to get one of those 4 year 16 million deals? |

See! We can have completely insane subject matter and still have it be funny and interesting! Lol. Those jerseys are something else.
The Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays AAA club) have special jerseys when they do Star Wars night, but they are generally pretty cool.
...you know, if you consider Star Wars to be cool. |

I don't think so, unless he has a great rest of the season. Only 20 points so far. 11 goals. Think its going to depend on what they are planning in the offseason. If they are looking for big moves, might just do the bridge deal. |
