but when you have your 2 biggest young stars showing up the refs right before the all-star game, it's not good for the nhl.

they need to let the refs call it as they see it on the ice and only use video review to over turn blatantly obvious interference. maybe he could have made the save doesn't cut it.

the alternative is you just blow the whistle on any contact with the goalie and kill the play right there.

Line up Martin at C to start the next game against Dallas...

Totally agreed. Moore appears to have lost his PK role with the addition of Kapanen to the lineup so what is he truly bringing to the mix?

Martin may not intimidate opponents but they definitely know when he's on the ice and can't be fun to play against.

Meanwhile, Komarov is hovering around 50% FOW - many of which are draws in high pressure situations - so it's not like you're losing a ton in that respect (Moore is only ~5% higher).

Would really, really like to see Babs give the Martin-Komagod-Kap line a shot. Can you imagine how irritating that line would be to play against? Two above average PKers, two guys who are among the league leaders in hits, and all 3 can skate (Kap is explosive as (frank)).

I'm sure Babs is reading this and will make it happen.

i think that's what it has to come to. players will learn not to bump the goalies.
