So when Rielly returns, what should the d-pairings look like? Methinks:
Rielly-Hainsey
Gardiner-Dermott
Borgman-Carrick
Having said that, I actually kind of like Gards playing with Hainsey so they could go with (though, admittedly, I can't see Babs actually doing this):
Rielly-Dermott
Gardiner-Hainsey
Borgman-Carrick
When Zaitsev gets back they're going to have to make a hard choice in Borg or Carrick riding the pine as I think Dermott has performed admirably and has earned a regular spot. I'm thinking Carrick is the better bet to stay in the lineup over Borg.
Polak can go (frank) himself on Robidas Island. - mjones242
It doesnt matter what wethinks....babs does the line up. Our d pairing projections are useless.
But I agree ........fack polak. |

Yes, exactly....no need for D if you spend all your time in the other teams zone.
Even Polak looked good.

No, you still need D.
It was a one off.

Heard that too, Marlins wanted Vlad Jr for Yelich..
That would be tough to do.. Vlad Jr, has to be Donaldson's replacement.. |

not for Yelich straight
Bo would be reasonable
Vlad is the best prospect the Jays have had. by all accounts absolute superstar potential. he is only 18. |

Have great forward group lessens the need for a Doughty/Letang is what it really means. Leafs should keep their D and add Evander Kane or someone like that. |

Missed the 3rd, but man, can we keep these new lines? Please Babcock?
Marner to 2nd line: two responsible players to shore up Marner's shortcomings vs. a tire fire of a 3rd line... which now looks a lot better with Brown on there and his infectious work ethic.
Komarov Moore Kapanen: grit/speed/energy; you can throw this line out there against most in the league and at the very least grind it out and chew up some minutes. |

How the hell does baseball work, no draft? I just looked it up, and he signed a $3.9 mil contract as a free agent at age of 15??? |

Gotta say... good for Carrick to stand up to a pretty tough guy in Roussel. He even got a good shot in and gave some kidney shots |

I dont really know the ins and out of it..but Team are allotted a certain amount of pool money for international players. year to year what teams have to spend is different depending on they did the previous season.
Probably a lot of luck involved

Also, Dallas' goal is pretty squarely on Matthews. Needs to cover the slot there.
He better be careful or he will end up on the 4th line centering Martin and.... Hyman... obviously. |
