If Bogosian retures dpes his cap hit just go away or does it Cody McCormmick? - chilliard77
If he were to retire his cap hit would disappear. The only time a player retiring and the cap sticks around is if they sign more than a 2 year (may be 1) deal at or over the age of 35. |

Remember when people said they didn't want Bogosian moved because they wanted to see what Housley could do with him?
I remember pointing out that Housley can't coach him on not to be injured. |

Did people actually say that? Or was it more like, well, since we can't move him, let's see what Housley can do with his game. |

It's too bad he can't ever put it all together. Has all the tools (except the "can't ever stay healthy" tool). |

It was somewhere kind of in the middle. I don't hate him, I'm just frustrated by the constant injuries. At some point, when does he say, "Clearly my body can't handle this." And decides to hang em up. |

I think McDermott or bean had a quote recently along the lines of 'the best trait for a a player to have is availability"
I think that works here
Doesn't matter how good of a player you are. If you aren't available to help your team win, then maybe you just gotta move on |

I wouldn't hate him if they took 3 million dollars cap away from his salary. |

I really thought bogosian would flourish under housley. He’s got all the makings of a top pair guy and housley was a great d-man. I know he’s not a healer but coaching is the most important thing in hockey, he could’ve coached him to play a way that could help him avoid these unlucky injuries. Bottom line housley was a mistake. There’s simply far too much talent assembled here for it to be anyone’s fault but his. Bylsma at least had a clue. |

He thought it was so important to post that he copied it from the last blog and brought it to the new one. He just needs attention and needs people to respond to him. Probably never got any growing up because daddy was too busy and just paid him off for his affection. - adambuffalo

Remember last week when people said that players are not injury prone.
In reference to kane and the amount of injury games missed.
Players can be injury prone, bogo fits the profile |

Does he though? super low hockey IQ, hes never put up more than 30 points. His best trait is being physical. Mix that in with his limited availability and Hes just not very good. |

I totally agree. Am I missing all these top pairing traits?
He looks completely lost with the puck on his stick. Low hockey IQ
He doesn't score goals or points
He doesn't play solid defense
He has beat a few guys up, that's about it.

Zach Bogosian is too worried about making music and people think he was going to be a top pairing defenseman |

Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield met "at length" with the Bills, Dolphins, Jets and Saints during Senior Bowl week.
The Heisman winner impressed in Mobile and is being projected as a first-round pick. Each of the teams mentioned would be a natural fit for Mayfield as the Bills, Dolphins, Jets and Saints are all seeking franchise quarterbacks. Mayfield is undersized (6'0") and has shown maturity issues, which has led to unfavorable comparisons to Johnny Manziel. However, talent evaluators have universally lauded his leadership qualities, mobility and playmaking ability. |
