I liked them, but I hope not. That color should be the primary color on the home jersey going forward. I want a blue and gold goat head with sabre patches or something totally new for an alternate - jcragcrumple
Those winter classic jerseys are so nasty How can you not like them |

Bills C Eric Wood's official retirement has been put on hold due to salary cap issues.
Wood was nearly an hour late to his own retirement presser, and then read just a one-minute statement without taking questions. GM Brandon Beane alluded to cap concerns. "We don't have any cap room right now," Beane said. "You roll it over (into the next season). He'll be on our roster for a while, until we figure things out." Wood avoided using the word "retirement" for procedural reasons, though he acknowledged he will not be playing football anymore. Wood should get a proper sendoff at some point this offseason, likely after June 1, when his cap hit can be better spread out. |

The difference between "giving up" and "cost of doing business" is always grossly misunderstood by fans.
Assuming a strong finish leads to a trade, it's likely the latter on Botterill's mind |

could be, but the return is directly related to the business being done |

Right, if he's dealt for a 2nd rounder and prospect, you've given up and are just getting what you can.
But my guess is he'd be packaged with something to bring in young nhl talent, if he was moved and didn't fall apart again through the final 30 or so games. |

I don't think it would hurt his future value if you signed him to a two-year bridge-deal and in doing so, gave him the opportunity to reach his potential in Buffalo |
