I don't think it would hurt his future value if you signed him to a two-year bridge-deal and in doing so, gave him the opportunity to reach his potential in Buffalo - Michael Pachla
im not saying i disagree but i can see the wisdom of moving him sooner rather than later.
You move him now (assuming a strong finish) someone pays thinking he can reach his potential with them
If you wait and he doesnt take that next step or takes a step back now you're looking at just getting prospects and picks.
Canucks have probably reached that point with Jake Virtanen |

The ones that I want Botts focused on moving sooner rather than later...
Kane (yesterday please)
Gorges
Pouliot
Lehner
All of the above done within one-week with Kane being priority #1. Everyone else can wait until the draft/summer.

Agreed but only if Bogo is on that list. To me, getting rid of Bogo and his contract is the equivalent of turning over other players. For the amount of games he plays, his playing ability, how much he is paid and how many years are left in the contract, he is #1 on my trade list (after all of the UFA's).

Yellow, but maybe it's just the way everyone looked on 70's TV. There were some really hot nurses on the show though. |

Besides UFAs...
trades often seem to take forever
Look how long it took Sakic to get the return he could accept for Duchene
Not that we have 10-12 guys of that caliber to move...
but unless we are just dumping guys for whatever we can get, that’s a heck of a lot of turnover for 1 offseason |

Wouldn’t hate it,
but I’m not a big fan
Options are slim on defensemen though
I’ve said before...
i want to win this lotto more than i wanted to win the McDavid one |

Besides Risto, Green would be the best we have. Add him to Risto, Scandella and McCabe. |

stinks
it'd be yet another d-man who can't play defence |

Yeah, that’s why i wouldn’t hate it
But i don’t think he improves play in our own end much (if at all)
He’d be an improvement...
but not enough to make a big difference imo
And that’s if we could even get him to come here, which I’m guessing he wouldn’t |

Again,
it’s unlikely this player would come here...
But I’d go “all in” for Carlson |

Everyone in the bottom six not named Rodrigues, and really him too, should be cast into Mount Doom in Mordor.
22, 26, 28, Nolan, 20, 10, Pouliot (I'd like home back), 29 |

It’s all about the value for me.
I have 0 doubts Sam will score 20g-40p going forward in his career.
If you’re making a lateral move in a trade, do it because you need speed.
Or do it because you can get someone unproven with a higher ceiling |
