He is the biggest, loudest ass; and proves it every time he opens his trap.
How the Pegula’s bought into him is beyond me, glad he is gone though. - IonSabres

A little bit of a return to the discussion from last night:
The Sabres need to freshen up the bottom six, imo, and there should be ample opportunity to do so.
Looking at 1 team (minnesota wild) as an example for UFAs this year:
Daniel Winnik - 5g-9a-49gp
Chris Stewart - 8g-4a-43gp
Matt Cullen - 4-7-48
now our guys who i think should be swapped out
Larsson - 3g-5a-49gp
Girgs - 4g-4a-44gp
Nolan - 2g-3a-43gp
If the Sabres can flip girgs for a 3rd and Larsson for a 5th and bring in UFAs to shake up the stagnation, that's a good move imo. I wouldn't look at matt cullen specifically - he is oooooold - but a veteran faceoff guy like him is sorely needed on this team |

How Rex got rid of his Sabres stuff after being fired.
Long winded.
Nothing prevalent. - thatsapickle
What an ass Honestly you think he would donate it to some kid that doesn’t have anything but hey let’s threw it away
Or put it up on eBay and donate the money to a charity |

It’s still a guess
Also...
all that shows is that there’s a 70% chance we finish worst in the east
Which means #2 slot at worst
It doesn’t give a prediction for whether or not we will drop below Arizona
Anyways...
it’s all just a guess
For the sake of discussion,
I’m still just inclined to go with where we are currently
That makes the most sense to me instead of trying to guess where we end up - jdfitz77
I don't understand how you can look at a very well done monte carlo simulation and call it a guess. You're guessing....they are modelling.
Worst in the East does not mean #2 pick. It does project our odds of dropping below Arizona.
You're free to assume our spot won't change. Their model shows a 53% chance that it will change. It's good work, I have no idea why you are so dismissive of it, even if it doesn't fit your narrative.
