I kind of like that he's getting time PP time on the wing so he can be more of a Swiss Army knife for us. Then again, Jack, Casey and RoR down the middle, throw in Asplund and we might actually have that center depth Darcy told us about.

I don't know what to wish for any more.

I agree that jack is and should be a scoring center but he hasnt played with guys that can create and dish yet. He has to do that himself right now which is a shame. Put cm with him should be fun to watch. Jack100 is a real possibility imo.

Exactly. I think they are both in similar situations and are just scratching the surface of their real potential.

But we can just draft the next “Datsyuk” in round 5, so we don’t need “Laine”

We should actually just trade our high 1st for a couple 2nds
That way we can draft & develop 2 amazing players instead of just one

A guy like him on jacks wing should open the ice right up for jack. He can draw defenders, get filthy and make the right pass at the right time to an open guy. Him and jack should/could be straight fire.

You play goal? I played goal my whole life. I definitely take in goalie performance a bit better even still i think.

I'm brutal on tenders, not sure if you are, but I tend to keep it to myself for that reason. Speaking of which, what do you think of Ullmark? Too wild or nah?

I thought he was a little crazy in his first go round up here a couple years ago. Havent seen much of him since but that game he played against columbus opened my eyes for sure. I thought his anticipation, his slides, and his body positioning looked really good. He stayed upright and covered the net really well i thought. I dont remember him overplaying the play at all that game. If it wasnt for panarin going all all star he would have shut them out. And thats not a poopty team either. I have hope that he can win us some games next year.
Edit: if youve read anything ive said about lehner you would know how brutal i can be too. He is (frank)ing awful.
