It's the one thing I absolutely franking love about driving in the US: they only drive in the left hand lane to pass.

It's huge that Andersen kept them afloat when they were struggling, grabbed them points by himself there. And now Dermott playing well has been massive, Kap being able to step in. Having a powerhouse Marlies team is paying off.

I'm not gonna lie, I freaked out a little bit when Rielly got hurt and they didn't have he nor Z. But they have been able to withstand injuries so far, even Matthews being out didn't send them into a spiral.

I did a bunch of driving in Alberta and I remember driving in a blinding snowstorm on the Trans Canada, slowing right down and crawling along because it was brutal. Guys in 4x4 pickups kept honking at me and passing, as if I was being a Richard for driving like someone who doesn't want to die. Then I saw a few of those same vehicles face first in the snowbank in the ditch when I caught up to them down the road.

Not that there aren't morons like that anywhere, but wtf.

When I briefly lived in Ft. Mac and drove regularly to Edmonton, 9 of 10 vehicles in the ditch were big jacked up pick-ups or other big 4x4s. Just dummies that think they're invincible.

I wish the Steamwhistle Brewery would serve food - all they have is pretzels.

It would be a franking perfect place for pre-gaming - Jays and Leafs.

Did the tour last year with the wife. The tour guide was from the same small town as my wife so he thought he could hit on her all tour.

Worked out ok though because she was getting a lot of beer and just passing it to me. I walked out of there pretty hammered for $5 or $7 tour cost. Can’t remember what the cost was.

i think theres some pressure to win, theres always pressure in TO. But yeah the age factor is huge. Matthews missed 10 games (i think) so he not going to be over worked. Zaitsev missed a ton, and Rielly a few too so our D should be well rested. Freddy is an absolute beast. Marner and Nylander are heating up and should be firing on all cylinders going into the post season.

I wonder if MIN would be interested in Gardiner for Staal? Jake can go back to his hometown and Eric can team up with Marleau and make sure the kids go to bed on time.. Then move Bozak to wherever idc... JVR lets get a 1st for him
