He's by far their best offensive player. Everyone has turnovers, especially when the puck is on your stick all game. He directly created the only 2 goals scored and almost a 3rd but Vinny hit iron. Saad doing nothing on the 4th line and Toews going for the double digit scoring drought should be far more of a concern.

YES, I AGREE HE IS THE BEST OFFENSIVE PLAYER! Also not disagreeing with your assessment of others onthe team. The Hawks have had a big problem with turnovers and poor play in their own end. He was a major contributor to that in the first 10 of the first (when I had made the original comment). All I was saying.

Honestly right now, it doesn't matter if it is pretty or not, as long as they win.

And, thanks to Kane for spending many hours with him this summer, working on his skills.
- pdx2ord

Many thanks.

I've read an article that few NHL players watch more hockey than 88 does.
Coupled with another article quoting his father saying that since childhood, he couldn't get enough hockey. He'd stickhandle up and down the stairwells whenever they stayed in hotels for travel tournaments. And over the 10 weeks of summer one year, Kane participated in 9 weeks of hockey camps. He missed week 10 because his parents couldn't find one in the area for him to participate in.

I'd bet money that he's the most PO'd of the core about the hawks downfall, and he honestly enjoys "going the extra mile" in his personal training routines and additionally taking other players (Hinostroza, Schmaltz, Hartman etc) under his wing just because he loves the game.

Just my speculation though

man...the preds piled on the rangers 5-2 after stuffing the kings 5-0...

that team (and i hate to say this) is my pick to go back to the finals...they are tough all around

Bouma and Saad 2-1 and really wish Bouma would just shoot. Pretty much everyone knew he was going to try and pass, no threat to shoot at all.

Even AA in that last shift, got the puck in a great area and could have just got the puck on net.

Duke has been a great trade by Stan. Would be great to trade Anisimov+ for a good young Dman.

What is Seabrook's SF/SA tonight? I'm guessing it's deep in the red.

It's not the team I dislike so much it's the fans. I do like the "Catfish" girl though.

Awesome trade especially if they can sign him to a good contract.

Only AA and Bouma are worst tonight so far in terms of SF/SA.

Core guys completely absent in spite of Toews’ pre-game mumbling on the need to bring playoff intensity.

Clown shoe defense unable to clear the puck will be their undoing tonight.

If I am Calgary I make sure Gaudreau’s line is out every time 7/56 are out there.

If the 13/23 Calgary line doesn't score another it will be a shock. Both 7 and 56 are a disaster.
