Anisimov at wing is....interesting. We'll see how long that lasts. Calgary is a very beatable team but so are the Hawks lol

At this point I'm fully on Team Tank for a Top 5 pick. They are sooo far from being a legit cup threat this year it will only hurt them to pick outside the Top 10 and either barely miss the playoffs or get bounced Round 1.

last 5 years basically split...lost 4-3 (OT) earlier this year

a rare comeback from 3-0 to tie it but lose in OT

hawks might really help themselves with a win; aves, wild losing, ducks already lost

not alot of fun to be pssed off at 1 AM after another hawk debacle...so had the flames their 7th loss in a row...

have lost 5 strt at home with 4 of losses in OT or shoot out...

Sure, but he carried this team's offensive production the entire year. He's in a 12 game slump, Saad and Toews have underperformed all year.

Bottom 6 looking good so far, not too much from the top 6. First shift, Toews wins the battle in the corner and passes it to the flames. Next Kane with multiple turnovers. I think he has passed the puck to the Flames 4 times in his first two shifts.

It is a lot worse for the Hawks when Kane slumps, because offensive production is his biggest contribution. He doesn't do a lot of the other heavy lifting or tough minutes and his line is soft defensively.

Kane has had some good stretches, but slumped and under-performed earlier in the season too. Not many vets having a great season so far.

Kane steal and dish for a Schmaltz snipe! The only two guys who can consistently produce offense on this team strike again.

Apparently Foley got the OK to rip on Saad for the same thing many other Hawk players are guilty of - lack of sack.

Totally fine if the vets want to spend the rest of the year feeding the young guys' scoring. As long as someone is scoring. Maybe easier, since other teams don't have the book on them yet.

glass got fooled out of his big fat pads...and somehow had the quickness and agility to even try to make a play and made it...

Schmaltz will only get better. Thought it was crazy that some people wanted to deal in the off-season. Not including tonight, but he has played 82 games since his call up 13 months ago and has 61 points in that span (3rd best for the Hawks behind Kane/Toews).

He played great with last year after the call-up and has had solid chemistry with Kane. He has made some mistakes in his own zone, but the skating and play has been solid overall.
