Agreed. Housley has shown he can adapt to a style that more closely matches the existing talent and skill set of the majority of players. Defensively focused, chip and chase, dump and run, slow, trap, etc.

I’d rather they right this ship and overhaul the roster to match the desired up-tempo, fast, 5 man attacking unit they identifies last off season. That will take significantly more time to accomplish...but I’m up for it if I see the transformation happening.

As a general rule your teams style should probably be built around and mimic your star guys.

So the whole trap and clog neutral zone thing may not be the right thing to do. Especially since the next wave of guys coming through are Mittlestadt, Guhle and 2018 first rounder

If Domi is on the block the Yotes would be smart to trade for Kane and sign him right after, they need all the help they can get. Then trade OEL for a couple more players and get that team moving. I don't think Keenum is that good, the Vikings are and that's what makes him a QB. He's was horrible before he got to the Vikings. The Broncos need more help then just a QB IMO.

Why do you think Bailey isn't playing with the Sabres, because he has regressed and Botterill can see it but Murray didn't see it. Murray had 3 trade offers before the Kane deal that included Bailey and he said no all 3 times. for some reason Bailey was untouchable to Murray. Murray traded away the wrong players and kept the wrong players, another part of his dismissal.
