pretty sure they would - navinrjohnson
In my time down here, I've seen a lot of ups and downs with Foles, but holy cow, it is hard to not think a switch turned on for him. His accuracy and poise through the playoffs were astounding.

x 2. Its like Pederson trolled Belichick with that call. Don't think we got that creativity or guts in McD or Daboll. Hope I'm wrong. |

That's insane.
Foles might get a late first round or an early 2nd, no chance they get a top 5 pick for Foles - Stripes77
Its Cleveland and they can sell it as we got the SB MVP.
I guess I am thinking it would be
4th Overall
for
32nd overall
Foles

To be fair, I don't think you get that kind of creativity or guts from 90% of the coaches in this league. |

This is how I feel. I know Foles has not been lights out his whole career, but he makes some serious throws and tons of those are while his feet are not set and those throws seem to be on target hitting a receiver on the move (not standing still). I would consider Foles with a 2nd round pick. We do have some communication with them from the Darby / Matthews trade, so who knows. |

I never looked at the details of his contract. Philly would be stupid to move him for a 2nd at that cap hit. It's going to take a first at least. Otherwise, they get more value out of services rendered. |

Foles, like most qb's
100 % dependent on their situation and their o line
put him in behind the eagles O line, he is a fringe pro bowl player
put him in arizona or indy, and he is an overpaid bum |

I agree, the bills keep hiring guys from the defensive side of the ball to be head coach.

I guess I would want them to get a second QB to groom too, but you are saying they are going to trade a 1st round pick for Foles and then use the other first rounder on a QB? Or are you suggesting a later pick (2nd or 3rd) on a QB?
I am not saying it cant happen, as the other option seems to be to trade both first round picks and more for a single QB.
As much as I want Foles, I can see Cleveland trading 4th overall for Foles and a second rounder (or maybe pick 32). I think the Bills have Eagles 3rd rounder.
If Cleveland does not draft a QB at 1 overall, they should just give up. That is the main reason you ever want to be so bad to get #1 overall, is to take a QB, no other position is ever worth the #1 overall pick. - Lilroot9
Why would they trade a #4 overall for him. That pick is worth way way more in football value. |

Because its the Browns. Look back at some of the picks / trades they make with their first round (or 1st overall) picks. I am not saying it is a good idea, just saying they want a qb that bad.
They were going to trade a 2nd for AJ Mccaron? Come on now. |

If Alex Smith just got a 3rd and a skilled player, foles will garner a 1st or 2nd.

That is just it, that is his contract but he will hold out for more money , so when he is traded, his contact will be updated with more money. I highly doubt he shows up to camp happy about that contract price.
Here is what he did when he played for the Rams...
"Upset that the now-Los Angeles Rams drafted quarterback Jared Goff with the first overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft, Foles requested and was granted a release on July 27, 2016"
No way he sticks around knowing he can be a starter and get starter money somewhere else. |

I agree with this. He will get a second for sure, if not a 1st. Isnt he like 4 years younger than Alex Smith too? |
