Brady is such a little baby, he said the Eagles made 1 good play and that was the strip sack at the end of the game. What a little B$$CH.

good...he's had a helluva career...am hoping that this is the end, or at least the beginning of the end, of the Patriots dynasty

It’s the end IMO.

Especially if B.B. leaves, which apparently is holding up the McDaniels hire in Indy.

It was already reported tonight on Roto world that he still hasn't given the Colts an answer, even as of the other day before the SB he still hasn't answered them.

Belicheck might retire. Or try and go elsewhere.

That team is old, next year

Brady will be 41
Edelman 31
Amendola 33
Gronk might retire
Hogan 30
McCourty and Chung 31

They still have peices but they aren’t going to the SB next year.

Texans or Jags barring insane injuries are going to start dominating the AFC

Only a matter of time either on draft day or before and the Pats will shock everyone with an off the wall trade and end up in the top 5 for a QB.

That's why, as good as Brady has been, I can't stand him. He's a whiny baby when things don't go his way. Always female doging and moaning at the refs when he gets hit. Did he even walk over and congratulate Foles? If he did, I missed it, I just saw him bolting off the field (probably to go have a hissy fit in the locker room).
I wouldn't be surprised if belichick leaves. It seems Prima Donna Boy tried to undermine him this year with the personal trainer situation, and even more importantly they traded away the quarterback who was the heir apparent. Kraft seems to have sided with his golden boy, and it may cost him one of the best coaches in NFL history.

Rather give both firsts and a 2nd for Mayfield.

Foles is in for a massive let down. 2 good games does not a good QB make when we have evidence that shows he's ineffective at best outside of 1 good year in Philly 5 years ago. Who knows? Maybe Jeff Fisher was really THAT bad at the end and Foles' record in St Louis is an aberration. But he only had 537 yards in 3 regular season games for the Eagles. That's worse than Tyrod's numbers this year by about 7 yards per game and Tyrod had a guy who was cut from the 5-11 Bears as a main target for half the season. One post-season game with 246 yards and 0-0, and 2 huge games.

That doesn't exactly fill me with confidence to trade even a 2nd round pick for. He's got a weird contract too, but he's got one year left and is owed a $3M roster bonus next year, but it's not specified if it's March 1st or June 1st, if it's March 1st it really doesn't make sense to trade him, because they'd essentially have $8.4M in dead money for him next year($3M bonus that could be due before they're allowed to trade him, and $5.4M in dead cap) Plus he has a weird clause that states if he's on the roster on the 23rd day of the 2019 league year the last 3 years of his deal are automatically voided. Which doesn't make sense and sounds a hell of a lot like circumvention, but I don't know NFL contracts that well. I wish they were all as easy as NHL contracts to understand because his makes no sense.

Hey, remember when you said last year that Brady was done? Until he shows that he can't do it anymore you can't count them out. He almost single handedly won this game despite his defense being Swiss cheese. They had the most points in a loss. He had the most yards in a SB, period.

So how long does Botts hold the cards before risking getting big unders or zero?

You can try & promote Kane all you want & a lot is valid, but the fact is he's a yuuge ? On which Kane will turn up & if team mates aren't going to get pissed off at some stage. Playoffs isn't a place where you want division in the ranks!

This is a good post.

Forget the contract for a minute, while Foles played GREAT in the post season, he has a less than stellar history. Apparently Frank Reich altered the playbook to accomodate what Foles does best (there is a concept, Jesus Christ!), an$ hats off to Foles for maximizing the opportunity...I am very happy for him, a great story was written by him.
However, I have to give more weight to the longer history, rather than the last month...so I would prefer another team in need of a QB go after him so there is one less team who has a higher draft pick needing to make a QB with their pick...Arizona, Denver, Jets?

still dont want foles unless we are also drafting a guy

flacco had a great run too and he still sucks

the only thing i can be hopeful about for foles is Jeff Fisher is just the quarterback killer, and thats why he flamed out with the rams

They're still the odds on favorite to go to the SB next year. NE needs a lot of upgrades on D, but to say Brady is old I will not buy into. Until I see that man suck I will continue to believe he will dominate.

I don't understand the whole Brady is a "baby" or a "whiner". The guy is a winner and the best ever. I understand people want him to lose, but he is right, Philly pretty much made one defensive play all night. They had some QB pressure, but nothing crazy. NE doesn't miss that PAT and FG that last drive probably would look a bit different.

Rochester winning is a good thing, no doubt. Do you really feel good about the prospects there?

Guhle could/should be in Buffalo already.
Ullmark is ready.
Nylander isn't ready, but is still very young for the AHL and his contract will slide again.

Criscoulo, Griffith, and Redmond look like strong AHL players, with no NHL future.

Bailey, Fasching, Baptiste, Nelson, and Smith are all older prospects who haven't made the team yet. They are about to be passed by the next wave. Mittlestadt, Borgen, Asplund, Pu, and Davidson are all better prospects.

Rochester will be good again next season. Guhle, Mittlestadt, and Ullmark will most likely be in Buffalo. They need a few others to take the next step and be a legit top 9F, top 4D. It feels like Asplund is the best bet.

- Lunaion

As Matty Ellis would say, this is "bang on". Rochester is good, but they are loaded with C-level prospects. The Sabres REALLY need the new wave of prospects to develop into solid NHL players, and not all just bottom pairing/career AHL veterans.

Nice post!

I was going to post something similar. More and more teams are turning into sellers. More and more options on the table. Kane’s stock has dropped. Anyone can argue his play does not affect his value but I disagree. He is invisible out there. I bet Botts holds out too long, someone pulls the trigger on another available player to set the TDL bar, and we get the screw job
