I never meant that AA is not a good player. I even mentioned how he has been productive while on a line with Kane. I stress that if you go with the premise that the game is going more and more to speed .....read carefully here....AA still can be a value player despite the speed factor. I like having a large size player like him. Yet if it part of a premise that we do not make a serious Cup run for at least two years, then retaining his services is not smart asset management. Therefore move him while he has good value. I would love to see him replaced by a large size forward who skates better and has some grit and nastiness along the boards. Either a center like this must be at minimum descent on face offs. The expectation going forward for this team must be better results in the face off circle. Whom stays and whom goes at center position, then, keeping focus upon improvement at the dot. A-ha, AA does make sense to move now while hus value is high. And though he is only 29, it is the value as in playoffs another team really craves his service. Hopefully he won't get injured in their playoffs

He scores 40ish points where ever he is. Columbus, NYR, here. Doesn't matter. Guy just does what he does.

John Moore and Andre Sustr are the only names that would be interesting, but i don't know if they're upgrades, or just names I've heard of and traded for in NHL video games.

Not a whole lot out there for Dmen on the open market and this is going to be an area of focus, so it will be interesting to see how creative Bowman can get.

Both are upgrades over Gustaffson, Kempny and Rutta, IMO. John Moore has developed into a solid 4/5D in NJ. Big, great skater, and a Chicago guy. Sustr is massive, not overly physical, but a decent skater for 6'7".

Man crush?

Enzo would not be able to sleep in his 88 jersey

Winning is frist & foremost

As much as I think 88 should go as part of the rebuild I would not make that trade without more from NYI ie D Toews & Bellows

- Goalie-33

Why not?? Seeing that you have not taken off yours for 10 years now, you obviously sleep in yours.

Maybe if you washed it every now and again, Kane would have signed it and you wouldn't be so angry with him!!!!!

I had this trade idea a few months ago. I asked wiz why Cole has bern sitting out a lot after being a vallued 5th dman in their Cup drive last year. I was told that Cole is deemed not good enough, having trouble adapting to and pl aging the new speed game. Take that Fwiw but understand right now Bowman I think endorses the speed game andc22 has been going along with it.

I have to wonder, though, how Rutta played well earlier this season but now has been vulnerable due to his lack of physicality among other things. A skill guy struggles: the tale of two dmen I liked earlier this season.

Toews line first shift stuck in their zone the entire time.

Once again - no urgency from the Hawks. At home no less.

Teams we are rooting for tonight:

San Jose
Buffalo
St. Louis (yes I said it, and it blows to root for the BLOWS, but a Minny loss is more important)

All other games (besides ours) are meaningless.

Go Hawks... regulation win!

Good power play. Both units had a good look, and we scored.

Debrincat is a keeper. Cannot teach that kind of release and knack for scoring goals. He also gave Duclair a great look on a touch pass to the slot but he couldn't handle it. 19 goals with how many games left to play??

Happens every time we’d play Calgary. Although Johnny Hockey does that to 99% of the league doesn’t he?

For those of you looking for some G-A-S and fire from the Captain, believe this was from the game in Calgary

Looks like he was yelling directly at Saad in the first one.

The amount of two on one chances this team surrenders is mind boggling

Then Jurco with the terrible hooking penalty

Is it me or was that another Mike Smith dive, where he felt Hartman and just grabbed at him and fell? Typical from that POS.

Gotta deal with it though.
