He hasn’t been given the opportunity I guarantee you if they kept him up here for 10 games he would be in the NHL the rest the season - GERBE!!!75PTS
Hes looking like a colossal bust so far. I would take almost anyone else in that first round over him if I could go back.
I just dont know how you can justify giving him time up here when hes looked so awful in the pros. |

Ryan Miller is starting tonight. Fun fun!
Now if we can get Kane and O'Reilly to light him up and get some trades moving would be fantastic.
I know O'Reilly is not a likely trade, but I do think he could net something good and I am almost ready to get a new core in here (besides Eichel). |

I love your information, it's entertaining. Not ever deal is going to work out.
I'm just posting what I heard.
Pretty obvious the sabres are unloading ufas.
Sabres are scouting the caps pretty heavy.
Faulk, Girgs and a " big guy" going back
Jbotts want's to win the Calder cup bad. That's why mitts will be joining the Americans for the playoff run.
Porter is going to get his 8-10 games in the show and be ready to help the amerks
What's ror's value? - Boss34
I'm not here to be entertaining and ROR is worth more then AHL players, that's not hard to figure out. |

Botteril in an interview recently scoffed at the idea of trading O'reilly when asked. Also mentioned how hes a huge part of this team moving forward. Hes not being moved |

If they were easy to find they wouldn't be hidden...or gems for that matter.
Bailey looks like he's way above the AHL level when I watch the Amerks games fwiw. - RhinoFan
He is turning into Macaroni type player very good AHL player Medicore NHL player |

Do not want TBH - GERBE!!!75PTS
Why Not? He looks ready.
Just my opinion, but I see the sabres adding a bunch of college free agents to round out the tank.
Similar to Nelson, cj Smith, e rod, Malone?
Their agents have to like the oppurtunity here in buffalo |

I dont want to be "that guy" but just because he said that does not mean he is not moving him. What better than to say he is a huge part of the team and potentially drive up the price. We have heard it a bunch of times, a GM saying they are not moving a guy and then doing it within a couple weeks. |

Nah I believe it. If that were true, He would have said the same about Kane. |

He doesn't strike me as the type to play games like that. If he were entertaining offers, I would expect him to say "we have talks about upgrading our team in different ways, but he's not specifically being talked about"
There's approximately a 0% chance to that they'd get pieces back of greater value than ROR anyway imo |

Who knows. Probably just from boredom. I mean Im not crazy about ROR because I dont necessarily think hes the best fit for an uptempo system. But the fact is that he fills a very important role for them and until they have a young guy taking his spot, it makes no sense to trade him. |

The difference between Kane and O'Reilly is the length of term left. You don't talk like that about a player who is locked up for many years still (at a high cap hit). I am not saying you are right or wrong, cause who knows, just they are totally different scenarios. |

Disagree. He'll be full time next year while Nylander is still on the farm IMO. Couple more seasons of no improvement and you're spot on, but not yet I don't think. |

Yea..Idk. It was just the way he responded to it. It was pretty convincing. Def didn't sound like hes going anywhere at the deadline that's for sure. |

Still wating for these so called prospects to take Advantage of the opportunity’s given ( Justin Bailey etc ..
You got players like Point and now a undrafted player in Gourde lighting up the NHL Smh
And We can’t find one hidden gem - GERBE!!!75PTS
Kind of hard to "take advantage of opportunity" playing on the 4th line for 5 minutes a game, with Josefson and Nolan. |

They are preaching "do the small things right" and maybe they are making sure Baptiste is doing that even on the 4th line and then he could move up the lines? I have not had a chance to watch in a while, but that is what they are doing with Nylander and they dont care if he scores until he does the small things right first. Who knows. |

In 2 gp with pouliot and erod, he had a goal, and his reward was a scratching the next game. Meanwhile, 28 is back on the top line, so I have no idea. Girgs only has goals with Eichel as the primary assist, while Baptiste creates with speed and hands.
I don't get it |

Would have been nice to put Baptiste on a scoring line after scoring a goal on the 4th line. Isn't that how earning it is supposed to work? |

It's pretty obvious ROR is a crybaby and hates not being the man or #1 C.
After the poop he pulled in Colorado, is anyone surprised? Meanwhile we have a passionate, young, .PPG player and he hates the losing attitude, the constant excuses, the going through the motions and lack of effort form everyone else and I don't blame him. He's half-assing it and still skates circles around the rest of the team and 90% of the opposing team on any given night. |
