The Raptors are the biggest choke artist cant handle the big stage one and done like always
- GERBE!!!75PTS

Raptors lost in the 2nd round to the CAVS last year, and in the conference finals the year before to the NBA Champion Cavs...And just beat Celtics by 20+ last night...maybe , just maybe you should research these things before posting.

Eichel is pretty good

23 is back to himself, pay him

The Sabres suck

F**k Punxsutawney Phil, this weather blows

I think boss is right, Kanemania is down to the pilot light

Ror’s Top titty on Lehner was entertaining, thanks Pegula

Risto for Hall looks like a steal lately, I’ll give you that.

Does Pouliot still play, I haven’t seen him since ‘nam?

you seriously trying to challenge me into a basketball debate ? Please tell me what team was better than the Cavaliers in the last few years ( in the Eastern Conference) the Raptors are (frank)ing trash they've always been trash

And now he's trying to tell me that the Raptors are good because they beat the Boston Celtics hahaha

I don’t know what you’re watching but the raptors You see In the regular season (never happen in the playoffs!!!!) they choke every (frank)ing year because they equal trash ..

And there's no way in hell that Kane's value is still high
They should have traded him weeks ago

We need one or two pieces to be legit.

It's almost like the team is adamant on just being at the bottom looking up to hopefully attain one of those pieces.

- thatsapickle

No offense to you directly, you just happen to be the voice expressing what many others feel...however, I don’t agree with the observation we are close, only need a couple of players.

-The Top 6 will likely need 3 higher-end players by itself, especially when (if) Kane is traded. Jack, ROR and Okposo are fine. Sam is playing better, but he isn’t fast enough to play in Housley desired system. Nylander, while still young has shown exactly zero signs of life...not ruling him out, but looks much closer to a bust that anything else.
The Bottom 6 needs help as well, They are likely stuck with Pommel for next year, but he fell off a cliff in mid Nov never to be heard of again. We have no effective 3rd liners, those who play there are better positioned on the 4th line. So there is a need for 2-3 there.
- As far as the pipeline goes, Mittelstadt looks real, but we haven’t seen him in the big league yet...so there much hope there to fill a Top 6 role. Baptiste, Bailey more realistically look like 3rd liners, so again hopefully they can fill that role.
This nets out to a minimum of 2 high-end players based on a lot of hope the pipeline comes through.

-Top Pairing, where ? There is 2 more high-end players needed at the positions most difficult to fill.
-Balance of D, likely can make it work with Risto, Scandella, Guhle and McCabe...with Antipin and Bogo as the 7th in a fight. Maybe Guhle develops into a 2, that is a lot of hope again.

-Goalie, once again, Ullmark looks good, but we hope he can adapt to the NHL ... we have seen a lot of promise with him...need a competent reliever.

We are not close, yet. Need at least 2 years of hitting on draft picks...hopefully they can find their #1 D in the next draft...our at least a solid top 6 winger.

Everything you stated in your original post was wrong, EVERYTHING...just wanted to point out that the raptors have been as successful as any team in the east in the last 3 years, except the CAVS...So I guess you dont know as much as you think, and your reply was the same crap, with no factual basis at all...but continue .

Agree with most of this.
-A 4th for Gorges might be high, but who knows...him not playing on the worst D in the league should speak volumes...but I get the desire for an extra D that playoff bound teams have.
-Risto is playing way too much and likely is a 3rd asked to play a #1 role. Not sure I would trade him given this reality. If Arizona offered their 1st, then sure...but...

Oh and what about, Girg’s, Larsson, Pouloit, ...

Better yet, let’s keep this poop show collection of dumb, effortless, fragile, classic under-achievers. That is much better, oh and fits a trade rumor board perfectly.

Results are results. You have been impacted by NHL18GMitis - building a dream team is possible there - less possible in the real world, and unnecessary.

We don't need a perfect roster, we need a winning roster.

Top 5 TOI/Game:

1) Doughty
2) Suter
3) Risto
4) Karlsson
5) Johnson

He's 23 years old (which is still young as hell) and Dmen develop more slowly. He's being asked to carry a d-corps that has been wildly inconsistent at best. Our forwards routinely forget how to play defense in their own end. He's adjusting to yet another head coaching change.

The list goes on and on of reasons he has been set up to struggle, not succeed.

Yes his play has dipped recently, and yes there are those who would debate that he is a No. 1 D-man. The point is that we are having that debate.

Trading Risto is short-sighted.

Exactly. If it wasn't for this sh!t show, most of us would have no reason to complain, whine, dwell on Tim Murray or explain, in full detail, how much smarter people think they are than others on this board.

How have they choked the last 2 years? In your first paragraph you claim the Cavaliers are the best in the east for the last few years, in the next you claim the raptors are choking for losing to the best team in the east.

Which one is it? Are the raptors chocking or are the Cavaliers the better team? You can't claim that one team is superior and then claim the other chokes every year for losing to the superior team. Perhaps sabreswarpath had the correct answer and you don't know what your talking about.

Well let’s do some straight talk here the Eastern conference as a whole is a garbage (frank)ing conference any western team would (frank)ing destroy everyone in the east
( besides the heat )

You have the Toronto Raptors that just destroy people in the regular season but once they get to the playoffs they forget how to play basketball

I’m still waiting for the 76ers to be the best team in the league that they were proclaiming Another overrated (frank)ing franchise
