Don’t think losing one year would become the Browns. All those players won’t be here after next year anyway. We aren’t gonna get a QB we want with our picks this year without trading up. This just pushes us back a year while freeing up dead space now and getting us a top pick with two others next year.

Basically getting rid of all of the good to serviceable veterans and surrounding a young QB with kids fresh out of college is what the Texans did with Carr.

I don't think it's a good idea.

If you keep the picks this year and strictly draft OL and then trade McCoy Hughes Glenn then I would feel better about it, however I think last season is something to build upon and tearing it all down would demoralize the rest of the locker room not to mention the fan base.

As much as you need a franchise QB, you don't accomplish drafting one by making the playoffs. Who the hell knows what the Bills plans are, but you don't get yourself a top QB in the draft unless you commit to tanking and the Bills didn't do that this year.

nick foles was not a franchise quarterback, but had a great team around him...brady is the goat and had little around him (nor could he play defense)...

blake bortles is...well...blake bortles...he and a great team around him almost took out the goat...

When has an NFL team tanked and it has worked?

The last team that did that was the Colts when Manning was hurt and they've made the playoffs a few times (Andrew Luck) but haven't won anything.

Tanking in hockey is a debate where there are pros and cons

Tanking in football is something where the cons severely out weigh the pros

I don't see it. Unless the Sabres offer him some obscene amount of money. I think he's content to ride it out at home. I'd think he'd go to the Red Wings before coming here, that's where he grew up.

Not to mention that there were years where the offense was top 10 and the defense was bottom 5 thanks to you know bad drafting, constant coaching changes, who implemented bad schemes (like going to the 3-4 when you had a team full of 4-3 players) and now in the process of trying to get more 4-3 players which leaves this team with a ton of needs.

They do need a QB however I don't think they should give up the farm to move up for a QB this year.

I would still draft one in the 2nd round though.

Try to sign Keenum, Stafford, or Bridgewater.
