We need to play with a little more heart than we did against the Blues. That was one of the most boring games in recent memory. To take a page from your last blog, fans (including 12 year old kids) are giving up. It's time to put together a small string of victories. Not just scoreboard victories, but some freakin moral victories as well.

I got free tickets to tonight's game and I don't even really feel like going. I guess it'll be cool to see Miller again? I can't imagine I'll stay for the whole game.

It's not the time or place for a "trap" plan when you are last place in the league and going up against a defensive juggernaut like the Blues, while your fans are fleeing. Lose 4-3 would have been a better option I believe then playing for a 0-1 OT loss and get a point.

Nope. He won't sign. We suck and no bad teams sign good players. Because he's the first in his family to go to college. Because he wants to finish college for his momma. Because he wants a great life after sports. He will risk losing millions to stay.

You're right. I was not commenting or suggesting on the Sabres playing the trap, but merely saying that they (the coaches) did their research and formulated a gameplan that was effective against one of the leagues best teams. So there is hope. If there were no coachable talent here, we would have been blown out.

am of the opinion that it's a tad early to be thinking things like that...he could very well be with the Sabres after the Minnesota season ends
