If the Pens could get Pac for a 1st rounder I think JR would be fired if he didn't take it. That offense would just be offensive.

Absolutely not. We needed him and I still think it was a great trade. If we didn’t have Kessel then I’d say yes, we need Pac.

Fine, but for the sake of the argument, let's say Bergevin actually accepts a Pittsburgh 1st for Pac (which is probably going to land somewhere >20 overall) then you could pretty easily flip him for a 3C. But JR wouldn't do that because Pac for your first is almost a rock bottom price.
