Watching him at the World Juniors and in the CHL top prospect has really swung me into believing that he should go 2nd overall. I like Svechnikov but he just seems lack that ability to be a star. If the Rangers draft him, Svechnikov, I won't be mad either. Can't really go wrong with the top 3.

Believe me, it would take more than a ~10th and a ~25th to get Tkachuk. Not even sure a ~10th and 2 late 1st's would do it...

Like it would probably take the 2nd, 3rd and 4th to trade up to Dahlin...

Oh I think he's 3. I like Tkachuk's game, but Svechnikov has more skill.

For me it's
1. Dahlin
2. Zadina
3. Svechnikov
4. Tkachuk
5. Bouchard
6. Boqvist
7. Wahlstrom
8. Dobson
9. Lunderstrom
10. Akil Thomas

I know that's high for Akil Thomas, but he's a good player. Reminds me a lot of Zuke in a sense that he just goes 100% all the time.

Not sure about that. If the Rangers have a 7th and a late first and Tkachuk falls in the draft, think it could definitely be plausible. Also depends on team needs in front of us. Not saying it is definite but it could be plausable depending how bad the rangers actually finish
