So the Rangers can sell off Nash and Grabs, possibly resign them in the off season and possibly sign Kovy who wants to come to NY which I would entertain because I still fear Shesterkin not coming over, I think if Buch and Kovy are here that it would be more probable after next season....oh and we have the chance to restock the cupboard with real talent......not a bad reward for such a bad season

It could honestly turn out ok next year

Some things don’t dawn on people right awa...as for him, he wasn’t brought here to play solid Defense he was brought here to help the yearly horrific struggles of a lifeless power play. Which he will do and did briefly until his knee gave out
- Slimtj100

I agree, but no one around here seems to think he’s bad defensively.

I hate when you do that. You are being hyperbolic. No one? Really? Only you?

the only thing that I wonder with Kovalchuk is whether or not he still wants to be a NYR while they are in rebuild mode

but, that probably depends on what else they do over the summer

they still have the King

I am not sure about that guy to be honest. I would rather not put him in a young room. Hell, you want someone to mentor Buch? Sign Sergei Gonchar out of retirement. I am sure he can help the power play, and he's a better mentor.

Note: I really don't want to a sign a 652 year old Sergei Gonchar out of retirement.

it definitely depends on the $$$

I'd give him two years 9 million like Vegas gave that Russian guy that didn't work out

Would you take him over Nash at the same contract?

For me, it's Nash by far.

Now if you are telling me I can have both, than maybe.

It’s a new game. We are tied at 4. The wolf pack blew a 4 goal lead. Great defense in the 3rd. 48.5 secs left in the 3rd

Hard Pass!!!
Think about it, his decisions to screw over his team, even though its one we hate does nto sit well with me, AND he will be 34.5 / 35 years old

Great, now I am going to need updates on how this ends, much like Tony's friend's daughter at the women's worlds.
