It's time.
Maybe he's just trying to give his pet, Nik, a win. After all, why else mess with the already fragile chemistry on the lines? - pdx2ord
I don't think Anton Forsberg has been great, but Q's back and forth BS with him and Glass has also probably taken a toll on Forsberg. I mean I have no actual proof of this...but the athlete in me says that it is difficult to play when you are constantly looking over your back. |

lets welcome the circus back to the UC - bogiedoc
Check that. .....Q, Dineen, and Ulfy.
They should dress up as such for the VGK game.....the home crowd would go wild. |

Same is true for all the players he's yo-yo'ed this year. Double the impact for a goalie, I'd imagine, since all you hear from them is the more games, the more dialed in and capable they are. |

If Stan can trade Wingels and Sharp for a young prospect that has an impact next year, I'll forgive him for the mirror move he made acquiring Weise and Fleishmann - EnzoD
I would be shocked if Sharp is traded. Doesn't he had a NTC or something? I couldn't imagine him waiving it unless it was to a team like Pittsburgh. |

Blackhawks booed off the ice. On the road. By their own fans.
Stan's there to see this debacle and hears that. . .does he finally act? |

I know times are different this season than they were ten years ago, but I remember when there were a lot of "projects" on the Hawks. Hjalmarsson and Crawford were both frustrating at times, but letting them play was the most valuable teacher for them. |

Unfortunate toews couldn't make the trip to Arizona tonight. They really look lost out there without him |

Must have been looking over his back on that 3rd goal. Just excuses. A real pro plays thru it and wins back the job he should want. |

they just might be on their way to matching that 2012 streak of losing 9 strt...
tonight is 6...and they have knight, ducks and caps in que... - bogiedoc
My assessment: the worst team in the lead is being beaten by the team with the worst record in the league. |

tonight could be the game that gets Q fired.
this team is absolutely atrocious. it is painfully difficult for them to create shots on net. - frafra
Don't think you see Q fired (if management decides to move on) until the summer.
No point of letting him go now, this team isn't making the playoffs, no benefit to putting a new voice in there with 26 games left.
Reset and regroup in the offseason.

You know what - make a (frank)ing save.
Score a goal, block a shot, clear a puck, make a save.
I’m tired of the damn excuses.
You want a new coach? GM? Ok.
Players aren’t gettin it done. |

I mean I also agree with your statement. It's hard though to figure out the thinking at times with who starts. Forsberg had a 3-4 game stretch where he played absolutely lights out, and one bad game giving up a few goals that were tipped in got him a seat back on the bench the next game. just my opinion. |

Would only do that IF you think his coaching is a reason for the underperformance and that it's not allowing you to get a good sense of what each of the players on the team is actually capable of doing in a different system, different environment. Not saying you do anything other than have Dineen or Ulf take over the reins for the last few games, but maybe you see a spark and maybe you have a better idea of what you really have going into the offseason. |

Well either the players just flat out can't get it done, so this is the team Bowman has constructed...or the system they play in isn't helping them get it done, which falls on Quennville and his coaching staff. I have been all over the place on what I think they should do. I love Q, I would hate to see him go, but at some point for every organization, change is good. |

i would agree with burish they haven't quit...but it the same ole same ole...unforced errors, giveaways, failed clears...and really not alot of push in the offensive zone...
they can't scorer and and don't manage the puck well...
only positive about this team has been their pk over the last month... |

What system? This team can't even make simple 10 foot passes, they either miss the man altogether or put into skates or a foot behind the intended target. And when there is a good pass it rolls off a stick. They stink, is that the coaching staff's fault? |

Yes the players aren't getting it done but there is MASS CONFUSION out there. Nobody knows who's on, who's off, who plays with who, which goalie plays tonight, what side am I playing tonight coach, why am I playing RW tonight coach when I'm scoring every game from the left side ??? Just a train wreck of coaching decisions once again.

While the losses are mounting and frustrating it does make for an interesting storyline, especially for this off-season. I’m not too worried about the forwards, but from the blue line back the only returning faces should be Keith, Seabrook, Murphy and Crawford. |

Just to clarify...I agree with you. I don't want Q to be fired. My main point was if they lose 9 in a row I don't see how he doesn't. If the organization even thinks they might let him go this summer, why wait? |

Seabrook "should" return? No, this player is returning because the Hawks have no choice other than for him to return because he is not movable. |

Seabrook "should" return? no he will return because he is completely without any value given his declining skill and ever reaching salary. But this player is returning because the Hawks have no choice, but he's clearly not part of any rebuild. - kwolf68
By “should” that’s what I mean, these guys should be back based on the reality of the situation. |

I won't be surprised to see Q get fired.
But I don't think Q is responsible for the fall off in production for 2, 7, 19, or 20. Or for the injuries to 15 (earlier) or 50 (which has been a big loss.) Nor do I think Q is the reason for 38 having a sophomore slump or for the defense only having one top four level talent.
IMHO, the biggest problem for this team this year is lack of talent on the roster. That's all on Bowman. |
