Wow, thanks Rick for remembering that story.
Not sure what case you are trying to make. I do not believe I said the Hawks should name Bylsma as coach. Please quote me if you can find it. You may have to go to the scrap book of comments I made over the years in the binder next to your One Goal archives.
Moron Bylsma won a Stanley cup and made playoffs each year, lost a conference finals. Then moved on to coach the worst franchise in NHL last decade. That Moron coached like 6 years in Pittsburg...I guess it took Crosby and Mario a while to figure it out?
Wouldn't it be funny if Q gets canned and ends up in Buffalo? - TrueGrit
You were the one that mentioned stale play and bringing in a new voice and I identified the coach, that's all.
Q won't be in Buffalo, they've got the same kind of goaltending that he has now in Chicago. He'd go mad. |

I wouldn't believe too much of what you read in the Tribune or wherever. The guy knows he is struggling, as is the team and its is affecting him more than he would admit to some reporter who has never played the game. When you have won everything there is to win in hockey, losing and not playing well personally is a new world. - RickJ
Solid defensive effort by 19 on Reilly Smith's goal. 4-2 after entering the 3rd up 2-1. The nosedive continues and I don't think it stops....Glass and Forsberg aren't good. |

When he was brought in his first year he won a cup...that counts for something. But I get your point and I hope you do mine.
Can't believe you said me and my buddies had/have no talent...
That hurts....
Hope you are well. Respect your passion.

ECHL level goaltending doesn't win in the NHL.
The team is trying but they are playing river hockey. What does it matter at this point, the playoffs are lost. |

Just keep playing the game, thats all that matters. You probably have more fun doing it than a lot of NHL players. |

Brent Seabrook earlier today: "We’ve had games where we’ve had good starts, OK second periods, and bad thirds. And we’ve had the opposite, where we’ve had bad starts and bad seconds and maybe a better third. We gotta try to put a full 60 together and see where the chips fall."
this from your 7 mildo 4-5 dman with "A"...lack of 60 min efforts...its (frank)n game 56...a 6 game losing streak and he is talking about playing a 60 minute...now nice |

glass has had the tale of two cities type of game: the worst and best of times
hawk skaters played a decent game: but no finish from toews, saad, kane, keith and that has been the trend.. |

Saad couldn't drop a puck in the ocean from a rowboat in the middle of the Atlantic. Its pitiful. |

Buffalo won tonight! God that Powerplay advertisement is brutal. Look at their faces as they leave the ice....that is the textbook look of defeat and demoralization. |

It will be interesting to hear what the players have to say about this loss....wait a minute, no it won’t. I expect another recycled message about needing one win to build off of. Blah, blah, blah. |

Predictable 3rd period collapse. Lottery pick looking better with each loss.
Keeps losing boyz. |

the hawks race to the bottom is on full throttle... |

What else can be said about this team, coaching and management.
There’s blame to go around from top to bottom for this debocle.
Hope the personnel responsible are held accountable but I have a feeling it won’t be in most cases.
This is the most painful Blackhawks hockey I’m sure most of us have watched in the past 10+ years.
Here’s to tanking the rest of the way and a good lottery pick. |

The wings won tonite. They are right behind us now with games in hand. Don't count out the Habs and Oilers with the way we are playing. |

Associate Coach in Rockford right now (hopefully) teaching those young Dmen how to play with a little grit. |

If the Hawks keep playing like this, I see only 2 clubs, maybe 3, as virtual locks to end up worse.
Coyotes and Sabres, plus the Sens.
Rasmus Dahlin would look good in a Hawks sweater.
Keep losing boyz! |

That's the one thing to root for at this point.
This club has become such a disaster so fast, it'll be interesting to see what happens from now until the start of next season. |
