I loved murray for his interviews...but this ain't about him anymore...
am still of the opinion that la would be a good destination for him...would fit right into the kings top-two/three lw'ers - Michael Pachla
Pegula let him get away with a lot, needed a hockey guy between him and Murray. |

Are we a “fit” as trade partners go?
Idk that they’re very deep with prospects or young NHL |

I think we are finally going in the right direction, Botts came from a top notch organisation that know's how to build and win. - SABRES 89
I like his approach this year even though it's meant a lot of pain in Sabreland this year |

I'm not sure Lafontaine was the answer there...he had no experience in that department |

I haven't been drunk in over 10 years.
My dad drank himself to death at 50. Kinda kills the urge to drink very much.
Is it my turn to say "you don't know poop" yet? |

I'm waiting for Lindy's coaching career to be over, so he can join the organization here. Not necessarily as a czar, but he seems like he could be a good advisor. He could check his ego and give the Pegulas advice without stepping on a GMs toes. Assuming he has no bad feelings, that is |

probably not...but you never know what their needs might be outside of a scoring winger |

that's funny, talk about Casey and because I voiced my opinion that didn't agree with yours you bring up Kane yet again. what's the matter you got nothing left to debate about ? Quitter - SABRES 89
Seriously, what else can be said?
I like Casey Nelson, hopefully a 5 or 6 d next year?
Are they playing him to shop him or because they like him.
Rochester has lost 5 straight?
Any correlation? |

Let Nelson stay why not, it will only help him. |

I think this might be botterill's team and if he gets it on the right track, he'll end up being that czar...
just speculation on my part |

I hope so. Slow and steady. I still think at some point he'll have to fire Housley and get a real field marshal in here to light a fire under these guys once the pieces are in place. I could see Eichel and ROR responding to strong leadership once the rest of the core and supporting pieces are built |

interested in knowing what happened between you and kane at the bar - Michael Pachla
I had mentioned it before some months back now.
I was on Allen at the bar across the street from Duke's... I think it's Exchange now. It was one of the last stops of the night, as I was a bit fk'ered up. This was either the summer when we first traded for him or the next.
At the bar ordering drinks, look around a spotted Kane. I was pretty excited and it seemed not a lot of people knew who he was, let my buddy know, but I didn't want to bother him so I just posted up away from the bar a bit.
He starts heading to leave(I'm assuming) and as he's walking in my direction. I move towards him a bit so I can say hello before he goes.. so I approach with a big smile and say "Hey, Evander!" and give him a pat on the shoulder; he responds with a closed fist punch/shove to my chest and walks away.
I fell backwards into the wall but just kinda laughed it off.. I'm a happy drunk like a few others in this thread, and I didn't want to be any reason for him to be in any more poop or miss time in the forthcoming season.
Him and I are basically the same size, and I don't mind a good scrap.
I met Ott, Regher, and Weber at Snooty Fox before too... those guys are legit. |

The bills way of hiring McDermott at coach then beane at gm? Seamed backwards but, it's working.
Maybe jbotts has an old connection from pitt?
I'm pretty sure Lindy would come back, maybe as the coach again. |

Man, I hit a nerve.
And Long Islands absolutely taste good, if you know how to make them that is... - Wetbandit1
What kind of man drinks Long Island ice tea?
Light weight Americans who come to university in Canada and drink for the first time when they are 18? Can’t handle our strong beer?
Beer is the go to. Rye/ rum and coke to mix it up. G&t to numb he pain. That’s about all we order at the bar.
I can’t believe there is a guy saying how yummy a LI IT is...

He's fine for now, but I thought he'd have the D scoring way more. He seems like a relatable, relaxed, players coach. I think at some point they'll need a tougher voice. It wouldn't help now because the roster sucks, but once the pieces are there, I'm not convinced that Housley can demand and get the best from his players |

when I drank long islands, it was for one reason--get lit - Michael Pachla
I think I used to chug them when I was 15 and remember being annoyed they didn’t taste like iced tea... the Canadian kind. Not that cold tea they serve down there for some reason. |
