Look at us now, we see eye to eye.
Glad to move past the b.s.
Do you think lindy left angry ?
He still owns a home in Clarence from what I hear.
Always thought it was nice that he and his wife had all the young Canadian players out for dinner during a buffalo tournament
Classy - Boss34
Lindy was pissed a lot, him and Darcy didn't see eye to eye like most thought. Lindy wanted certain players and Darcy wouldn't get them from what I was told. Don't think anyone would be upset if Lindy came back. |

Won't do what? He's going to have a decision to make with Mittlestadt and his 1st round pick. They could both be on the opening night roster, not sign pro-contracts, or be in Rochester (maybe). Conventional wisdom would put them in Buffalo, but I'd bet against that.
My point is, JB is still in his honeymoon phase here and it's much easier to talk about slowly developing a 2nd rounder or college FA than it is a lottery pick. There will be a little more pressure on him next year. - Lunaion
I understand your comment about more pressure next year, but if waiting on guys in Rochester seems to be paying off, he gets more slack. Rushing a player is not going to help anyone (unless he plays amazing). Making guys earn their spots only makes the players respect the process and GM. Just handing Nylander and Mittelstadt roster spots does no one any favors. But I don't think you are saying just to hand them roster spots.

I know they made Miller take off the Miller Time thing because it could be construed as being commercialized.
What possible reason could they have for telling her to remove the Statue of Liberty? - Wetbandit1
Because they hate America.
They say its a political symbol in violation of their rules against wearing those icons.......by that logic we need to remove any and all maple leafs from Canadian uniforms..
Seriously....go (frank) yourself IOC |

“No writings of any kind to promote the country is allowed,” Slater explained in an email to InGoal. “A sort of ‘our country is better than your country” kind of thing that the IOC frowns upon. Her name had to come off because they see it as self promotion. They wanted everything to be team based. … Our original idea was ‘land of the free, home of the brave,’ and that would have had to have been removed as well.”
At least Vetter and Slater got to keep the USA logo on the left side of the mask, which was made with real 23 karat gold leaf embossing. If that logo had been an official USA Hockey logo, it too would have been removed. But because it is the logo the American men’s and women’s teams will wear on their jerseys at the Sochi Games (which also can’t be an official USA Hockey logo), it got to stay. So too did the Statue of Liberty on the forehead, which along with he eagle on the right side maintains a patriotic feel of a still great looking lid.
This was 2014... They allowed the Statue of Liberty then so I don't know why they have to remove it now.. |

I really hope they tell the IOC and w/e bullpoop country who lodged the complaint to go fist itself. - feetontheair22
Ahh, it's because they don't allow political statements. They made a goalie remove a quote from the Constitution in Sochi too.

In the summer,
any twist on a Lynchburg lemonade is tasty
Nice solid Bourbon drink
Bandit is right about drinking what u like though
Just that 99% of Long Island drinkers are just looking to get hammered as quick as possible
And that mentality makes for a lot of douchebag behavior
But what do i know?
I only serve a thousand or so ppl a weekend |

Many options might arise if we don't get Dahlin. If we get the #2 pick we can trade down to #5 and still take Boqvist who should develop into a top pair guy. We'd probably pick up a second round pick and a good prospect for moving down in the top 5.
We'll also be receiving a prospect and maybe a first in the Kane trade. There are a lot of good Dman in this draft, so using that first for a Dman will pay off in a few years. Taking a Dman in the second round would be wise as well since some will slip.
We might not have a true #1, but adding Guhle, Nelson, and Boqvist should make us a lot more competitive. - sskkoo1
That’s the thing though...
waiting a few years
And what if Boqvist is just “Mike Green” and not “Erik Karlsson” for us?

Darcy went to Lindy’s house to fire him. The way Lindy talked about it, it sounded like it was pretty emotional and they were pretty close. |

I'm not saying hand anyone anything. Just saying it's easier for him to keep Guhle in Rochester this season than it will be for him let Mittlestadt return to school and Zadina or whoever to return to Juniors.

I remember Darcy said he walked up to the door and really didn't have to say anything. Lindy came to the door, saw the look on Darcy's face, and said to Darcy, "I know". |

Ott and Weber were both really good guys. And yeah, Ott is a funny dude. They're practically brothers. Weber lived with Ott growing up for a while for hockey if I remember correctly.
Regher was more quiet that night.. He ended up going to the hotel across the street with some slag from Snooty.
Seriously, she was like a 5...Might've been older than he was. - BareMetal
Damn! That’s rough
Hot girls would literally line up for the younger Sabres
Picked off quite a few leftovers, lol
Most of the guys were just blowing off steam & picking up girls
Some douchy behavior here & there
But usually nothing that was too big of a deal
Ott is one of my fav Sabres that I’ve encountered |
