I think Bos and Tampa's situations are a bit different with Hedman and Chara at different points in their careers

that said I dont really think Sergachev will be moved either. Tampa is trying to load up that defense for the playoffs and taking Sergachev out for Mcdonagh doesnt help

They already dealt Sam Girard, Vladislav Kamenev and their second-round pick in the Kyle Turris deal, so how deep are they willing to go? A first-rounder that might be 27th or lower won’t do it. They’ve still got excellent prospects (Dante Fabbro and Eeli Tolvanen atop the list) and no doubt the Rangers will try to leverage from those.

this is a guy who went to the KHL after Nashville drafted him, and they already have nightmares of what they went through all those years with Radulov
