Only got to watch the 3rd, found myself rooting for the tying goal but not at all upset they lost

Was Hank bad or was it the entire team in the first 6 minutes?

- KreiderBomb

nah, just another elite pregame pep talk by the mighty AV

Really like what I've seen from Deangelo, had another solid game tonight. Pionk and Gilmour looked good also.

Turnovers galore. But they may have played the best period all year in the second. Gilmour Poink Deangelo and Sproul all looked good. If this was a regular season game where it mattered it would be a devastating loss lol. But hey they are showing life with these kids. Much more life in everyone really
- Slimtj100

The kids will be here so that’s the good news, plenty of time for them just sell baby sell and add to them

Well shame on them for not playing with a spark for the first 54 games, I don’t feel sorry for them, players deserve to be traded, we need to sell

They shelled up big time Minnesota. I’m just looking for compete and effort and I saw it. Miller played well also and got robbed with a couple minutes left

The D had more shots on net this game then I can remember in awhile

The A.V. system: Let's go out there guys, and see what the opposition has to offer for at least the first 10 minutes. He rarely has his team prepared to start a game, yet alone, try to dictate the flow, by showing the opposition in contrast what his team, injuries or none, has to offer. Another 1st Period game loss, and 6 more losses shy of likely not reaching the postseason, should it require that magic figure of 96 points minimum to do so for the 2nd Eastern Wild Card spot.
After dominating the Wild in that 2nd Period, what the heck did he say in instructing his team to not do in the 3rd. "Wait until there are 5:00 left prior to pressing for the tie, should the score difference remain the same?" They played desperate hockey in the 2nd, and then went back into their normal A.V. like shell in the 3rd, with the season nearly on the line.
Hold off on the trades, unless you fire "Bazooka Blow It All A.V." and his bench assistants. A set of new voices are needed more so first, because they could draft 4 Conor McDavid's to start with if it were possible, and the results under this coaching clown would still be the same, with A.V. deploying those four as if they were all 4th line scrubs.

Rooting for them to win, not upset about a loss. That’s exactly where I’m at right now.

I only got to watch the 3rd, but Pionk, Gilmore and Deangelo all made good impressions. Now we just need some game changers up front haha.

After Gilmour scored they really woke up and were in it the rest of the game. Hard to win when you give up 3 goals on 6 shots, though.

Detroit winning was good, we can at least slip into the 7th spot, more ping pong balls the better

I want AV and his two buddies gone as much as anyone, but a coach doesn't have anything to do with Holden, Skjei and Nash's awful turnovers. Lets put some blame on the players sometimes.

Great scenario. I'd like to make the playoffs in 7th or 8th, have at least one round to have a team to root for, and more balls is always better.

As others said, the three turnovers in first six+ minutes resulted in the loss. But really liked what I saw from the young defense. Speed with the puck. Ability to create on the rush. Can recover if beaten, Good communication between the Hartford call ups. A loss but some positive signs.

I have taken AV to task a ton. But no way can you blame him for three turnovers, especially Nash's. I am sorry. Not on him. Plus, sometimes you have to Minnesota credit. They clogged the neutral zone in the third. New York tried dumping puck back to create momentum. Attempted to skate through it. Dumped and chased. Little worked. Tip your hat to the Wild and Miller had a late shot to tie it but Dubnyk made the save. Tonight, bad start and good job by Minnesota in the third.
