LA Kings have talked to NY Rangers about Rick Nash, but according to my sources it was a quick conversation so far... The Rangers asked for Gabe Vilardi and Blake said, "No." - jimbo83
If LA got Nash and he scored a couple of playoff OT winners, I’d seriously break stuff

It was reported over the weekend by someone at either Sportsnet or a tabloid in Canada, that the Preds offer for Nash wasn't even worth the Rangers discussing.
As a result of how bad Staal and Vesey were treated by Emelin and Forsberg, (all respectively in order), provided these other teams are on Nash's "o.k." list, I would get into deeper talks with St. Louis first, if I were Gorton, just to possibly end up screwing the Preds somewhat, since only Brady Skjei tried in key that game to settle the score then.

You cant let that affect your trading partners. That's very short sighted. The only thing that should matter is who will provide the New York Rangers with the best return, period, the end.
